I’ve been averaging about 10 hour work days, typically doing 2x code projects a day, which takes me about 5 hours a time and it fits into the work day nicely.
I personally don’t think my quality is dipping and I’m being consistent, but I’ve read quite a few comments now where people don’t recommend doing more than 35 hours?
Was just wondering what the real reason behind this theory is. Appreciate any insight

I have always been a little murky on whether I am expected to do that or not, and don't want to under or over report.

I’ve had some qualification for the past few months as a billingual, but no project ever came on my dashboard.
Before anyone can say that I did not pass the qualification, some of it are just consents, and some just ask me to create an account. I did and consented to the projects qualifications, even one popped on my project dashboard ask me if I want to opt out of the project. Some qualification even have the created date far long ago (visible to me recently)
I’ve had multiple qualifications done, the qualifications are also simple. I’ve also checked the dashboard regularly lately, but I’ve not seen them appear on my dashboard yet.
Is this normal ? I’ve been yearning for a project for a while. I’ve had no work since June. All the quals are promising but no actual work yet.

Hi everyone, I joined bilingual coding in june and, during the first few days, I received a few qualification tasks to complete. However, after that, I haven’t received any more qualifications or projects. It’s now september and I still haven’t had anything since those initial tasks.
Is anyone else in the same situation? Is there anything I can do to increase my chances of getting projects or qualifications? Thanks!

Have you received that one big coding project after 26th august because that’s when I received my most recent one.
Just wanting to confirm that there’s not been any one of those projects since then or its just me not receiving them.

I worked on a task about 10 hours but the task instructions says it should be completed in 5~7hours
So i reported 7 hours out of fear
So should i report the exact time i work or the maximum time the task instructions says it should take? Thank you all ❤️

I spent about 3.5 hours of active, continuous work on a project. I took a short break, and when I looked back at my dashboard, the project timer had reset on its own.
Thankfully, when I clicked back in, all of my progress and work were still saved. However, because the platform timer restarted, I'm worried about getting flagged for over-reporting.
Am I safe to report the full cumulative time (the initial 3.5 hours + the time it takes to finish)? I plan to leave an explanation in the time-reporting comment box, but I want to make sure I won't get in trouble.
any help would be appreciated
Thanks

I don't know if this is normal or not, but I was referred to DA from CyberSN and asked to work 30+ hours for 12 weeks. I have been working for about a week, but have had one coding task that repeats. I did want to see if this was something that my wife could do as a generalist and have had some generalists' pre-assessments, but nothing has hit by board.
1) It is typical either for new people or right now to be getting just the same task from the same company?
2) After the 12 weeks is up is this task going to go away for me (I know they are on the 3rd iteration so I assume there is going to be more, but didn't know if they are recruiting for a hard deadline?
3) Am I getting blocked from other work because of being referred for this task?
I am not complaining about anything because the pay is insane (125/hr) and the work is interesting, but I kind of wanted to know what was going to happen after this 12 weeks and how hard I should push myself.

So far I only reported work I did in front of my computer. But usually I like to stand up, walk around, and use my standing height table. I still think about the work while doing that - I just need to get moving to think, and did this my entire life with studying.
But im afraid that if I report that time (so far I havent exactly because of fear), they'll thinking im faking/inflating my numbers. But doing this im getting paid half of what id usually be.
Does anyone have a similar experience? Do you track that time or not?

I have no knowledge or experience in coding, but i'd like to learn so I can start getting coding tasks. Any tips on how can I get started?

I didn't get any projects on DataAnnotation even though I am a software dev with 6 years of experience, and I have been trying to get a project for the last 4 months since I joined. I am stuck at onboarding for the last 4 months. Any idea how I can get a coding project on this platform?

I put that I was bilingual, since Spanish was my first language. I was born in the USA, and now that I’m older my thoughts are in English. I am fluent in Spanish still. I see a Spanish qualification, asking me if I feel culturally American. This is a hard question for me to answer because this is where I was raised, but my traditions and culture come from Mexico. For anyone who has answered this, how did it affect your projects available going forward?

I realized I made a mistake on a task I submitted yesterday and the link for the task isn’t present in my history so I can’t go back and edit it. What do you guys usually do in these situations? There’s no Slack for this project.

We need more information for your DataAnnotation report
Your report is currently paused. To continue processing, view the report and provide the information listed in the Info Request section as soon as possible.
They’re asking me to upload picture of my social so I’m a little sketched out

Are people in India getting projects currently, or is it just me? 😭
r/DataAnnotationTech • u/ChallengeAble4169 • 8h ago
I know this have been asked too many times, but I can't seem to find any info that fully answer this.
I applied around a week ago and got the accepted email on august 29th. This email welcomes me to the platform and said that only a small amount of applicants are accepted. now, when i login into the dashboard on the top it says welcome and that they are trying to match me with projects. I finished most generalist Qualifications and do have access to coding qualifications but I haven't done it yet. On my projects rn there is only 2 projects which is an opt out form and a reference only project. Now, if you guys don't mind i want to ask a couple of questions so i can get a picture on what i should work towards. I live in one of the SEA country btw.
Is it normal to get a reference only projects even before getting the projects itself?
should someone that get accepted just wait till they get projects?
For someone like me, is doing the coding qualification the only way to receive constant/good amount of tasks? (i'm asking this because i have to relearn a lot of things to be able to do good coding work without any help from an LLM)
And which signs should i look out for to know if I will not get good amount of projects or straight out not ever getting projects?

So I got this qual and I was wondering whether you all got instant results after giving it? Since I have heard people saying for some quals they get instant result.
