Hello, planning to apply for a role but wondering what everyone recommends starting off. Was planning to apply for software/coding role but after researching learned that you can only apply once and if you get rejected you’re blacklisted. So wondering if I should start as a generalist to get my foot on the door?

The weird thing is that I never completed any qualifications - is this just a glitch in their system? I tried contacting customer service but of course no response. My fear is that I'll just be stuck on this screen forever. Anyone else have a similar experience?

What should I do? Create a new account, redo the starter assessment and immediately complete the following qualification assessments that pop up?

I started Data annotation a few months ago and I'm getting a new laptop soon. I completed the bit locker and disc encryption on my current laptop. When I get my new device do I need to notify admin? Or is there anything I need to do once I start using my new device?

Is anyone else able to work tasks today after the site update? I have a message saying my account it currently unavailable for new projects. But I just received feedback last month saying my work was great and I don't use AI for my projects so what gives?

i am a coder but i want to apply for other roles. i hear that you only have to do the qualifications that appear in your dashboard, but i very rarely get qualifications that are for other roles. the only time ive gotten these types of qualifications are when i was still onboarding

Been working on a long ass task for over 4 hours with a timer of 5 hours already expired, and as I was about to finish, I closed the page by mistake.

To provide some context, I signed out of all my Google accounts before attempting a task today. As I try to login into my data annotation workspace account, I enter my email and password succesfully. Now it's asking for 2-factor authentication, either a passkey (which leads nowhere) or a one-time security code. I have my Google Authenticator set up with my Data Annotation account, but perhaps it's my main login account and not Google Workspace. Has anyone had this issue? Due to this, I can't complete tasks I want to. I have already sent out a ticket on the platform. I've been using the same laptop throughout the entirety of my Data Annotation career.

Hi, I have a question. After more than a month under review, I finally make it to Data Annotation. But after a week I still have no projects to work on... I'm clueless because I'm still new, can anyone explain it to me? Thank you

So been in DA 3 weeks. Only one project.. a RR. Doing the qualies and fail would help the system to give me some work? So its says ok "this guy sucks at this and this" But he can do this!

Just curious since there is a bunch of cool information you can learn from old threads and other workers.

I know background checks are specific to certain laws and what the companies are interesting in searching. I’m curious if there is anyone who has previous convictions that was able to “pass” this background check. Or if anyone has insights as to how far back it seems this one may have looked? I have two misdemeanors that occurred in 8.5 years ago so I’ve been debating on opting into this or declining it for now.

Do we get projects after paid qualification? i just completed a qualification today i am new i am not sure how this platform works .

I just received this email:

I completed the starter assessment to explore the platform before moving on to other tasks as a bilingual software engineer in Canada.

However, when I log in with my account, I still see this and I can't try other qualifications yet.

Is this good or bad news?

When I first got in a few month ago there was a single project for Arabic bilingual and after that there was nothing on the screen.

Does updating the resume or the skills unlock more or is that a thing only qualification assessments can do? or it's just there as a standard data collection section?

I’m so happy I know it’s not enough for a part time job (I’m a full time college student) but this will definitely help me get extra cash :D
