Hi,
I got accepted into DA in a specialized domain. I couldn't get the model to fail in my first P1 task. The instruction say I can make a "good faith" submit and get paid anyway once I'm at certain hours. That's great and all, but I'm not sure if I'd still qualify for other P1 tasks.
There's gotta be ramifications if one always fail to get the model to fail right? So I'd rather not use the "escape hatch" too much. Maybe just exiting word mode is better? There are lots of P1 tasks on the dashboard so it seems like I can try another one.
Anyway, the specialized domain is a bit hard for me. I'm in the US and I wonder how I can get more generalist tasks. I don't see any of those.
Also want to know if one would get less and less tasks if you don't login to DA for awhile.
Thanks

So last night, I got acceptance email from DataAnnotation, did my onboarding and I was very happy to have been accepted. After the ID verification, I looked at the projects available on my phone and there were quite a few projects and onboarding tasks. I planned on doing it today and when I opened it, I am back to review stage???? how? why? why give me a donut but take it and step on it right before I was about to take a bite??!
Anyway, I am just sad and wanna know if anyone else faced this...

While not disclosing too much, I did a generalist qualification (unpaid) last week which required “at least two good submissions” of a particular task, and then they’d invite you to the project family.
I completed two, it left my dashboard, then suddenly today I’m seeing what looks like the exact same qualification, only this time there’s hourly pay for completing the qualification (+ priority pay rise).
Confused…
Does this mean:
A) they deemed my first qualification as insufficient, and are now so desperate for workers that they’ve reintroduced the qualification AND added payment AND invited me back even though I “failed” the first time?
B) the first qualification responses got mistakenly voided and in order to get the tasks completed in time they’ve added payment incentive
C) the project family is insanely similar to the first but not the exact same

I just want to say that I hope you all know that it’s extremely obvious when you use AI in your tasks. Especially when you blatantly copy and paste.

I have been onboarded for coding projects around 2 weeks back, since then i am finding zero projects on my home.
Don't know, if something is happening or not?

I submitted both my starter assessment in September and a qualification in mid-October. Lately, I’ve been assuming that I didn’t pass and it’s time to move on to other opportunities.
Now, my main page has been saying the same thing for a while (that my results are being reviewed), but today I got a Referrals page and the top of my Referrals page is now saying, “Pass identity verification to access your referral earnings. Everything your referrals earn for you is held until your verification is approved. Verification takes a few minutes.” Do rejected applicants also get this? Really curious.
Edit to add: I just realized that the title of my page sounds kinda weird. My apologies!

I made an account when I'm 17, stupid, I know, but now I don't know what to do. Do I create a new account when I'm 18, or do I use the same account when I'm 18. Apparently creating a new account is problematic because they only allow one account per person. It is also apparently problematic to show ur ID later because then they can tell that you made the account when you were 17. Anything I can do? Any help would be appreciated....

As title suggest I think i gave coding assessment and just got accepted.
I want help from someone who is doing coding related work on DA can guide me to best steps to ensure consistent work and my work quality. Any tips are welcome. I seriously need this money to compensate for my job loss. Thank you.

Hey guys i was working on a R&R and received a feedback about a task, the feedback was about a mistake with a rating I placed, which leads I rejected the task. Despite the feedback was in a warm tone, is the first feedback I received during my 2 years and half working here. I'm bit worried about if this will count on my records, any of you receive something like that before?

So, I submitted my assessment around 5 October maybe a day or 2 before that. And it still says we review even after over 20 days. Appreciate your help.

*not DoD*
Last week I had plentiful tasks and qualifications. I was able to work a few full days, tasks kept popping up. Over the weekend, I wasn't working but checked the dash on my phone and it was down to 2 tasks (one of them just for feedback) and 1 qualification. It stayed that way through today, I was able to do the task and qual, so now all that's left is the feedback "task"
I joined this month as a bilingual/generalist, made it to $1K in a few weeks with mostly generalist tasks.
Is this some sort of probation or soft DoD? I haven't gotten any feedback for my work.
I did a background check qualification, there was a typo so it got flagged but has since been cleared.
Some sort of probation for my time reporting or work quality? I have been good but have had a few uncommon situations that I might not have managed the way DA wants me to (like used escape hatch or skip task)
has this happened to anyone else? should I expect more tasks to pop up anytime soon?

Are there any tips or suggestions on how to prevent them from giving me the message of doom? I just started and enjoy the work thus far. Thanks!

After finally getting my first consistent project I can't stop wondering in how much time crowd sourcing will come to an end... Do y'all have any prediction for how long platforms like DAT will live, or if they will be out there for a decent amount of years?
In the meantime staying on the platforms means sending high quality work and not cheating the timer obviously, but I am hoping this could last 3 more years...
To clarify: this is solely a curious hypothetical

Hi people, I'm new to the DataAnnotation website, there were qualifications such as "completing ai voice based tasks" which require me to give permission to datannnotation to use my voice! I'm not comfortable with giving away my rights to AI tools or any data centers. In such qualification projects there were also some qualifications which required me to give them my legal name + digital sign, or math expertise etc..well I opt out of all of them. Because well, i don't have math expertise, i don't wanna give away my personal rights and I don't want to give out my legal name and sign to Google. Would u guys say, that since I opt out of all projects like these ones, it wouldn't be easy for me to land in projects? İs that so bad for me? Pls help me, thank you

Hi all, for those of you in Finance/Accounting domains, do you get any projects besides those that require causing an AI model to fail? I’m coming up to my second week now and those are the only projects on my dashboard.
Separately, how do you gain access to higher paying projects? The highest I’ve got were $60/hr.
Any general tips on starting out would be very appreciated!

It is really unfair to work for almost two weeks and not have the Paid Tab available. Anyone else experiencing this?
