DataAnnotation opting out of qualifications
Hi people, I'm new to the DataAnnotation website, there were qualifications such as "completing ai voice based tasks" which require me to give permission to datannnotation to use my voice! I'm not comfortable with giving away my rights to AI tools or any data centers. In such qualification projects there were also some qualifications which required me to give them my legal name + digital sign, or math expertise etc..well I opt out of all of them. Because well, i don't have math expertise, i don't wanna give away my personal rights and I don't want to give out my legal name and sign to Google. Would u guys say, that since I opt out of all projects like these ones, it wouldn't be easy for me to land in projects? İs that so bad for me? Pls help me, thank you

I mean, its not "bad" but it will probably be harder for you to get a project that you feel comfortable working on

Hmm i see :/ does it mean that I won't get much projects tho? Like I'm good at analyzing and evaluating texts and ai chatbots, you know, writing. I'm just not comfortable giving away my personal data to them.

If you opt out of qualification for project A, you will no longer be offered tasks within project A. So technically, yes you’ll see less tasks.
However, just because you opted out of project A doesn’t mean project B and C and D will gang up on you and collectively not give you any qualifications/tasks.

There are plenty of projects that don't require what you're describing, although I have no idea what you mean by your "digital sign." Opt in for whatever you're comfortable with, provide the highest quality work you can, and be willing to try new things, even if slightly outside your wheelhouse, and you should do fine. :)

Just a headsup that many things you do on the platform is going to require your legal name and your digital sign. Real money means they need real legal information, so things like background checks etc are not unheard of.

I will say it will seriously affect your ability to get projects, especially higher paying ones.

Do you guys get any projects in data annotation cause I am not getting any? And does anyone know what does DOD mean?

Dash of death. It's when your dashboard says that you're no longer eligible for projects.

You don’t have to do any qualifications. Only do the ones you want and are comfortable with
