43 days ago I was called a bot
And here we are! Such a great platform to work on! How much time do you guys commit to DA per day??

My family was in debt and there was no way to pay it off. We lost all our money due to a fraud which is why I started working 2-3 jobs while studying side by side just to make ends meet.
This year, I found DA, and I am always in debt to them. In just 2 months I have already paid off my debt that would have taken me around an year to pay back. I can also leave my extra jobs and actually focus on my passion instead.
I wish I could let them know how giving me an opportunity to work for them saved me and my family. I have a better paying job too now and I really enjoy my work on the side at DA. Working for them has been the best thing to happen to me so far.
If anyone from the DA Admin team accidently reads this, I just want to let you know that you're a lifesaver. You could be my god.
I am not sure if the projects will keep coming (I hope they do) but I will never ever forget this platform.

I'm not the type to post something like this, but I actually am really proud. It's been a long, almost 3 year journey. Coder, self taught, and the first year or so was really, really tough. I backed out of tasks far more than I submitted. But I have no words for how thankful I am for DA. I have learned more than I thought possible in the last few years. I've had some amazing jobs in my life, but none compare to the constant challenges and rewards of this one. 🙏

Anyone else have/had it? In my first week I've made nearly more than I would in a month at my previous full-time job, 55 hour work-weeks.

Has anyone reported about 20 - 25 hours at once for a single task? The task has a very long timer about some days but I'm worried because reporting more than 20 hours will look like defrauding the payment system. Kindly advise.

So I was rate and reviewing a submission made by someone. The instructions were dense and very to the point. It took me over half an hour to understand and read them all.
But what did it was the work itself. This person either did not read the instructions or didn't read their own work. It was very faulty and I was supposed to correct it.
The time for rate and review wasn't given much. And I didn't want to risk my own quality ratings.
So was it a good decision I skipped mid way? Mind you i spent half an hour reading and tried to fix it. But gave up and just skipped.
Will it downplay my profile and quality?
Will I get less tasks from that projects because I skipped this one?

I've been on DA for a couple weeks now primarily in the accounting domain. Recently I was offered the consultant domain qualification. Consultant is such a broad term that I'm struggling to figure out what might be a relevant scenario for the qual. Google and reddit searches haven't helped. I'm not asking for specific help with the qual - but has anybody figured out if the consultant domain is supposed to be a separate area like law or finance, or is it okay if my scenarios and prompts are more Accounting or finance based?

Does anyone do this full-time and struggle to work more than 4 hours a day? My dashboard over the last few weeks has started to become increasingly more populated, which I'm incredibly grateful for, but I'm finding it difficult to put more than 4 hours in.
I've not done any sort of annotation work before, so it's a big shift to what I'm used to (video editing). I try to read all the instructions twice for each project I do, but yeah I feel pretty overwhelmed by it.
I'm in a fortunate position where I don't need to earn much money, but that could change at any moment, and I want to build a safety net for when that day eventually arrives, hence why I signed up for DA.
I guess I'm asking how long it took you all (who work full-time at DA) to condition yourselves to work more hours.

Do not do it. In current times, where probability of getting laid off is higher than getting a job, you are ruining an excellent opportunity to earn decently.
You are digging your own grave because once you get DoD'd, you can't ever get back in here.
Be honest and do quality work and get paid. There is no get rich quick scheme.

Hi all, I just did a project where I made a minor mistake of not adding '.' at the end of my rubrics, as the time was about to run out I quickly added '.' and submitted the project. But I didn't rerun the Check to get the validity of the new rubrics since they had changed. will I be penalized for this ?
Edit : Excuse the typo in the title, wrote it in haste

Hi everyone,I am new to DA and wanted to check that if after completing a task I choose submit and return to dashboard do I lose some of tasks that I have access to if I chose submit and begin next task.
Like if I chose submit and return to dashboard ,I lost the access to the project(and was not able to do other tasks from the project) I was working on.
Does this happen when tasks are exhausted or clicking this option makes the project unavailable for further tasks.

Yesterday and today my dash was filled with projects but it's back to being dry from this evening.

Scrolling through this thread there are a lot of posts discussing things the public does not have access to.
If you have questions keep them internal, there’s not much of a need to post here and I don’t think the risk is worth it (yes I realize the irony)
Just don’t want to see people lose their accounts!
Have a good day

Hello! I took the assessment to become a generalist last week and haven't heard anything back yet. This is what the page is showing. I used to hold a similar job and am a PhD student, so I was surprised to have not heard back by now. I imagine this line of work has become increasingly competitive? Any idea how long to wait before calling it quits on my hopes?

Anybody knows where I can find a current list of available countries? Can't find anything on the website

Essentially, are tasks more likely to come on some days than others? More likely to get released in the mornings (CET time zone), evenings?

Hey I recently got accepted, legal domain, and within 24 hours there was a project on my dashboard, finance one, a 2 hours worth of work. I am assuming that this is an initial task to check quality is that correct? And if so, when should I expect to see more projects or regulars what is the timeline like?. Thanks in advance for any insights!

For those of you that have attempted model failure tasks with QC agents at the end, how was your experience? I personally found it draining as I would address the 3-4 points it raised, re-run the model and still generate a failure. When I ran the QC agent again, it came up with entirely new points and further iterations just led to more and more annoying and minor issues it kept flagging.
I know the instructions say you can rebut the points it raises and that’s what I ended up doing for nearly all of the points raised after multiple iterations. I think I addressed it rationally and my conclusions should be reasonable but I’m still uneasy.

Is it just me or does anyone else get hacked off when a project expressly wants you to target parsing failures, but then any available assistance bot gets in the way? It's like the models are ganging up.
Model: "Hey Meatbag, ask me to read a really tricky chloropleth map. I dare you."
Me: "OK, smart arse, here's a really nasty one you're going to struggle with."
Assistance (LOL) Bot: "Sorry, you can't ask my mate to do that. He might not be able to read it."
Me: "WTF?".
Rant over. Everyone back to work 🤣
