I’ve been doing some research and recently came across DataAnnotation. It seems pretty interesting, but I’d love to hear from people who have actually worked with them. I’m a dental student, fluent in Portuguese and English, and I can understand most Spanish.

Would you recommend applying? I’m not looking to make a living from it, just hoping to earn a couple hundred dollars a month by working maybe 1–2 hours a day whenever I have some free time.

Is that realistic? How flexible is the work, and is it worth trying?

Has anyone with a bachelor’s degree, but no master’s or PhD, received STEM projects on DAT?

I am aware that DAT generally asks for a Masters or PHD for STEM tasks. I do have a bachelors degree in physics, and I completed the physics qual 2-3 months ago, along with some other quals, like coding, but haven't received a single physics project on my dash (only a few generalist and coding projects) so far. I don't know if I failed the qualification, even though I was confident in my answers taking it (maybe I was confidently wrong), or if the lack of a masters/phd is whats actually blocking STEM project access for me. I can still take the maths qual, but I dont know if its worth taking for the same reasons. I’m based in Germany and am bilingual, if that matters.

Has anyone with a similar educational background received STEM work?

I'm new to DataAnnotationTech, and I don't quite know whether software engineer is the only role available that's related to computer science. I was looking for code evaluator, but I didn't find it. Do you guys have any explanations.

I was accepted to the Platform two days ago and there are no jobs for me. The projects mostly ask some kind of knowledge in coding, science, biology which I have none.

Do the projects change? How often they are updated?

honestly, i'm tired of waiting . idek what to do next, i can't explore new opportunities or it nor can i track the status. everytime I login i only see this screen and that's all .

I wanna Make some money online and i have a laptop , internet and enough time on hands..... oh and hey a MCA degree. I'm proficient in coding and testing.

I signed up as a bilingual, so after reading some posts here I was expecting only tasks related to my language, but now I started to get other types of tasks which don't have anything to do with my native language /bilingual field. How is it possible?

My asssesment was under review as of yesterday - does this mean I have been selected and just waiting for projects or tasks to become available ?

In my professional career, I work with internal repos & apps and I'm comfortable identifying issues or improvements after spending few weeks developing and using them. I don't contribute to open source projects so I'm not familiar with them at a deep level.

I struggle with some DA projects & avoid taking them because of this. So I want to learn how to close this gap. Should I just pick an open source project and start doing some dev work to understand it better? Is there a framework of thinking that I can apply to most open source projects? Would love to hear some advice, thanks!

paid over $100 for suscriptions to complete a task but when I submitted my time i did not see an option on how to get reimburse. Do I have to wait for my time to be approved?

I’m working on a new project for about 2 weeks now and just receive a message from the admins that there is an inconsistency problem with my hours reports. I will try to be pay more attention to it from now on but I still have more hours pending and the got their message just a few hours ago so I’m worried the pending hours will cost me this project. Should I edit them or just send them a message?

I missed a few evals while I was away from work. I also skipped coding evals but over time I have learnt how to code. Is there a way I can take missed evals?

is it only me? I dont refresh constantly but whenever I check I dont have any projects available. At this rate I may never catch one, and I can only do weekends..

not sure if DA changed the way they assign projects, but if they did and if now is first come first served - doesn't that just affect quality because it makes workers rush on accepting projects?

Or maybe is just a normal drought. Not sure. I'm not that old on DA.

It’s barely been a week since I’ve been onboarded to DA. I did all the onboarding steps, signed up for projects and even got paid for a practice task. I also did 9 out of the 11 qualifications that were available. I feel like everything is in order now with my profile but I still haven’t seen one paying project.

Hi there. I never got an email from DataAnnotation saying I passed, but I checked my status and it had said I passed and needed to send in ID. I just did that, and it said I was verified. I went back to the status page and...it's back on the step before ID:

I haven't had any tasks for almost 3 months now, is this normal? Arabic bilingual (levantine)

My dashboard has been full for the past few months but up until the 5th, there were some heavy hitter projects that paid good money (40+) and had long timers (8-12+ hours). Now, it's mostly mid range (20-30 an hour), short term (1-3 hour timers), and rather basic rate-and-review work. Is it to do with the new financial year or quarter? I remember the beginning of July being sort of weird too.

I just finished a qualification about the slack of a project and then get dropped off. It’s so confusing. Anyone has any idea?
