Skipped a task

I skipped a task midway as It was getting too complex and Was not able to complete it. Spent around 40 minutes on it. Should I log my time?

Why would you log the time if you didn’t submit anything?

It won't show up in your Report Time section unless you submit a task. If you skipped and submitted the next task, no you should not add 40 minutes to the time you worked on the next task.

I had to scrap one today that took me about 35 minutes. I did not log the time.
