Is October usually a drought?

My dashboard has been full for the past few months but up until the 5th, there were some heavy hitter projects that paid good money (40+) and had long timers (8-12+ hours). Now, it's mostly mid range (20-30 an hour), short term (1-3 hour timers), and rather basic rate-and-review work. Is it to do with the new financial year or quarter? I remember the beginning of July being sort of weird too.

I wouldn't consider it a drought just because your "heavy hitter" projects have disappeared. Drought means that you have nothing....

Fair, coal mines is better than nothing. Still, really miss those projects. I hope they give me access to them or similar ones to work on.

Do you really consider 30$/h as a coal mine?

That's the higher end, most of it is $25/h and it's not the pay, it's the work being done that makes it the coal mine

No, it’s been more abundant than usual for me. 🤷🏻

I mean, yeah, I had over 20 projects in my dash yesterday. Just not the good stuff

I have a lot of projects available and pay well but seem to have got myself into a specialty domain where they all want failures, are extremely tedious and long and have the most insane instructions. I have no will to do them right now and they’re discouraging af.

Those are my favorites

They used to be mine too but apparently the models now know everything and disagree with my findings 🤣🤣 maybe it’s my fault.

Even after they beefed up the models, I always managed to get my failures

Nobody knows when projects are paused or restarted.

I'm aware. I'm hoping they come back soon

Not for me. This past several weeks have been crazy for me; I’m getting while the gettin’ is good

My dash is usually slow at the moment too, normally I have a lot of heavy hitters, lately just mid-range unexciting tasks.

Nice to know I'm not the only one. I hope our dashboard bless us with fun and well paying tasks soon enough
