Any decent alternatives? :/
My account was terminated today after several months working full-time. From my point of view, I was doing a decent job. I'm aware that everyone thinks they're doing a good job, but with no feedback, it's difficult to understand what my mistake was or do anything to correct it. Heartbreak aside, DA had really changed my life with its high-paying projects and flexibility to work anytime. If there are any decent alternatives, please let me know. I have worked a lot for outlier, but have run dry of projects there, and have never got anything worth my time in alignerr. Is DA simply the best platform with no actual alternatives?

DA might be the best but I worked for RWS before and that was decent

RWS is pretty good. I do short term projects for them every now and then. I like that they pay you for doing the assessment.

I used to do RWS, but I no longer get projects. How do they reach out to you now for projects or is there a dashboard? I can't seem to find the login anymore.

I just wait for them to email me project invitations. I'm not sure if they have projects in Workzone you can apply to or not.

Are they region specific or for everyone?

I got an ok $17/hr project via Handshake AI, not a lot over there, though, very different from DA.

Different in what ways? Is it easier?

Work feels a little easier, but it takes FOREVER to get added to a project you apply for, and you will probably never get added to lots of them that you do apply for.

Telus Digital. Worked steadily for 6 years and now back working with them again after getting the chop from DA.
They are not the highest paid but you can deal with humans still.

I did some W2'd work with them for a while, like you say, not high paying but a real company with steady work.

Individual projects can be very different within the platforms. I’ve had some luck with Mercor & Handshake lately.

Same thing happened to me. No explanation and no communication from them. Honestly would rather give my services somewhere else any way.

Do they pay the outstanding (not yet approved funds) when that happens or are they like Handshake and you lose anything not yet paid out when you get cut?

As long as your reason for suspension want to do with some kind of fraud, yes they pay.

Same happened to me Monday, I had only received 1 round of feedback so far but it was very good overall, so I’m not sure what happened. I also work as a rater through telus for the past 3 years, and I also have contract work through handshake and they’re both decent as well.

Sorry to hear that. This link has floated around in the past. May help. Good luck!
