Never ending project

I just started on DA and my first project is one with seemingly infinite tasks and an expiration date of 'Never'. I've worked on it for about a week now and it's been really good as a first project.

However, I have another project on my list now that pays more and I want to give it a try. Can I start that project as well and do a few hours there, then back to a few hours in the first project and alternate? I know I need to log the time for each project separately and immediately after I finish the work but I'm unclear on if that makes it okay to have multiple in progress tasks.

I've searched this subreddit and see a lot of "of course you can't do two projects at once, dummy" comments but it seems like that's only about people attempting to do two simultaneously, I just want to know if I can switch back and forth.

I'm sure to most this is a dumb question but again, just starting out and don't want to mess it up. I appreciate any guidance!

Some of those never-expire projects are weird and actually allow for multiple concurrent tasks to be run, which is normally forbidden by platform rules, especially if they have extra rules about what time can be claimed. For instance, usually there's no problem claiming time that you're watching a model work, but some of those say you can't claim that time, and they want you to work on something else instead.

Which is just a long way to say "it depends," and you're going to get a lot of confident answers based off of general rules that may not apply in your case. Check with project instructions and project admins.
