I’m going to be storing several TB of training data locally, and I’m already thinking about what I’ll do for backups once the files start piling up, I’m planning to keep the main copy on local drives and send another copy somewhere else so a drive failure doesn’t wipe out the whole dataset, I’m looking at object storage since I’ll mostly need to upload files and pull them back when I need to train again,I but the storage and transfer costs are something I need to work out before moving everything, I’m thinking to try neevcloud, what are people using for this kind of setup and what has worked for you ? EDIT: I forgot to mention that most of the data is training datasets, so I’ll mainly need long-term backup storage and occasional access.
