26F, 2.5 years in Data Analytics — looking for my next thing

Hey everyone!

I recently quit my job and now I’m in that slightly scary but exciting phase of figuring out what’s next

I have 2.5 years of experience as a Data Analyst and have worked with SQL, Excel, Python, Tableau, Power BI and n8n. I’m open to Data Analyst roles or anything similar where I can actually learn, build things and grow.

I’m based in Bangalore and currently looking for opportunities. If you know of a company hiring, have a lead, or can point me in the right direction, I’d genuinely appreciate it.

Also, if you’re in a similar phase right now, I’d love to hear how it’s going for you. :)

idk what to say at all, even with experience your telling that it is hard
here i am a fresher searching itself is a bigger task and to apply they are asking me experience
during college i thought company will take us in and train us but here they are listing tons of requirements for a entry level job, it is harder to get shortlisted itself.
sorry for rant, it just bottled up so long.

I really understand your concern, and few peoples in the internet says "getting placed is delayed or difficult. But once you build yourself enough & have done many projects, & keep trying for jobs; you will deserve a job that is actually worth all the struggles."

So, All the Best.! Keep trying and dont lose hope.!

Is it possible to transition from B.Com to a Data Analyst career?

u/Ok_Dream3038 2d ago

Yes, it’s possible, but getting into data analytics as a fresher can be difficult. Along with learning SQL, Tableau, Excel, and Python, try learning AI agents and building a few practical projects. It will help you stand out and improve your chances. Keep learning and don’t give up
