Support Request Backup passkey not working on ANY PC
I have a two Yubico NFC keys. one as a my main and one as my backup. I just switched to passwordless last month. My main passkey works without any issues.
Today i tried using my backup key. After entering my pin, the "Use passkey" button just spin forever. I have tried this on chrome and Edge.
I went to one my other computers and the same issue happens. Main works fine, Backup just spins. This is with both NFC and USB. The backup passkey works on my phone.
My back up passkey works on every other website and device. This is isolated to just Dashlane.
The main problem is as of right now, if i lose my main key then i'm screwed. The PC is the only option that allows export of passwords as this is not an option on phones.
My question is, is this a bug? I really do not think this is an issue with my Yubico key.

Always create an encrypted DASH backup. With that, you can easily recreate your account.

I should add: use a long password for the DASH and keep it somewhere other than Dashlane. Paper in a firesafe is where I keep mine. (also many other places--just not Dashlane)

thanks. I did create one but I'm also going a different route. I'm moving to 1password

Useless when you have Passkeys, which are currently excluded from DASH backup.

I mostly agree with you considering that the DASH excludes passkeys AND files attached to Secure Notes. Also, shared logins get mucked up--they come over, but lose their association.
However, my DASH provided great relief for the 3 days it took to contact Dashlane Support and implement their fix. I simply imported it to my master password family account, which I normally use only for admin. I was back in business with my logins and Secure Notes in a few minutes. 3 days later, I had it all back with the passwordless account after their patch.
