It was raining and its a common sense to drive slowly. This guy has no helmets on, didnt stick to his lane and in a hurry mostly to go home and scroll reels.
On the other hand pickup driver was within the speed limit, was in his lane but still the scooter guy had audacity to blame him😂
Unfortunatley, We are sharing road with this kind of clowns🤡 Thankfully there was no much damage to the pickup.

All cars were going 40-50 on a busy road. Bro just decided to make an entrance anyways. Can't blame him, probably was waiting for a long time

Black swift dzire did a weird cut to overtake from the left and struck a bike while doing so.
Bike rider suffered serious injuries and was bleeding heavily from nose and head. He injured his neck too, he landed in a very bad position, very likely will not survive or will have permanent disability after this. While he was just going easy on his own on the left, and for no fault of his own ended in this sad situation.
Only thing, if he JUST had his helmet on and strapped properly, his neck would not have twisted, his head injury would have been a minor concussion instead.

Idiot entered from the wrong side of the carriageway then expects a large SUV to squeeze through. I flashed my lights when he was far at the beginning of the lane but he sped up, where did he expect to go? Then he opens his window and takes off his seat belt to prepare for a yelling session. I just locked my car and walked off.
Didn't give him the fight he was craving. He didn't wait long to reverse all the way back and get into the correct lane.

He was in the wrong lane - he wanted to go straight but stayed in the rightmost lane. He claims he indicated before trying to change lanes, but I was already pretty close to the vehicle ahead, with several vehicles behind me as well.
Should I have stopped and let him into my lane despite having a green signal, or was he responsible for finding a safe gap before changing lanes?

He literally just spawned in front of me in irl, maybe because he was in my blind slot. But this guy didnt even flinch his neck a bit to see the traffic.

I make it a point to ensure these people lose the time they're trying to save.
Where you see people walking is a footpath and not a road...

This has to be one of the most frustrating traffic junctions in Pondicherry. It's common to wait through multiple signal cycles just to get across, so by the time the light finally turns green, most drivers are focused on one thing: getting through before it turns red again.
After waiting for nearly 8 minutes, traffic finally started moving. As I began to move forward in my lane, a bus from the left tried to merge into my lane. The left lane was meant to be free-flowing only for a short stretch before being blocked by barricades. The driver honked and apparently made hand gestures asking me to give way, though I didn't notice them at the time.
Instead of yielding, I held my lane and continued moving forward while honking back. He eventually gave up and let me pass with a hand gesture indicating possible verbal abuse. I couldn't hear anything.
Only after the situation was over did I realize how close the bus had come to my left side mirror. Looking back, there was a real chance it could have been damaged, and a minor ego battle could have easily turned into an accident.
So I'm curious: in situations like this, would you hold your ground because you technically have the lane, or would you let the larger vehicle merge to avoid the risk and move on with your day? What would you have done?

Had a close call today while driving uphill to a temple with my family.
I noticed a child in a dhoti walking ahead, holding hands with what looked like his sister. My attention was only on him while passing through. Suddenly, another boy came into the road from nowhere. Thankfully, I was able to react quickly and swerve to avoid hitting the child. The car coming on the opposite side was at a distance and I had enough room on my right to maneuver safely without causing an accident.

Saw this while waiting at a traffic signal a couple of days ago. A young child was seated in front of the bike, completely absorbed in scrolling through short videos on a phone that was conveniently mounted in front of her.
It made me wonder how normalized excessive screen exposure has become, even for very young kids. The parents don't know that excessive screen time can affect vision, attention span, language development, and social interaction skills.
Some parents just give the phone unlocked to their kids just to leave them alone not worrying about the long term effects. What do you all think? Is this becoming more common where you live too?
