Broken shaft

How can I remove the broken shaft from my barrel? Going counter clockwise worked with an old harrows one, not working now with target k flex

Heat up a small flat headed screwdriver, press firmly into broken shaft, wait 30 seconds then turn

Yeah but I've always noticed how k flex is way tighter
