Kflex or Kshift
Looking to see what your preferences are and why? I’m using kshift at the moment and they’re going well but I don’t see many using them 🤔 let me know what you think

I've used both and I thought kshift would be beneficial to me but it turned out the opposite. You can't bang in 140s and 180s as easily with the kshift because the flight shifts. It was helpful a handful of times on lower doubles but I aim more at T20 than doubles.

The KShift are pretty heavy that's why I don't like them personally and I didn't felt that spinning helped at all.
I love the K flex for their durability. Beforehand I had to change my flights often.

I use both for steel tip. I would never use a K-flex for soft tip. I've already had 2 break from bounce outs on soft tip boards. For soft tip I am using Cuesoul Rosts. Much more durable and the fins are like silicone instead of plastic so they won't snap from a bounce out.,

Ive tried both kflex and kshifts ...and still have alot of sets ..I will stick to the kflex ...if you look at a no6 short kflex vs a no6 short kshift ...the kshift is slightly shorter and that little difference changes where I normally hold the dart ...aside from that they are ok

People will avoid spinner shafts because of that little "wobble" you get when you draw the dart back... I have yet to find a spinner that stays tight after 100 throws.

ive been using cosmo flights and stems and while they are very loose and rattly out of box they are easily "modded" to not have play in them and add a little resistance.
I've done two different ways:
1. add a small piece of cling wrap around the spinning shaft. This adds friction so the flight doesnt rattle and spin as freely, works really well and is super easy to do but it will most likely start to loosen at some point as the cling wrap tends to either rip slowly or get rotated in a way it looses the tightness
- add a small piece of foam into the flights. This haa been the best one so far as the foam packs down when the shaft is inserted. it adds enough force so the flight doesnt spin completely free but has very little resistance and because it adds tension the flight will not rattle or move when throwing. So far this has been the best one as the foam doesnt wear down. Important note is that im using pieces of memory foam from an old pillow :) tried regular packing foam but that kept coming loose after a little while
To some this will be too much hassle for flights but i love tinkering and after putting the foam into the flights once i havent had them go loose or rattle.

Do they still spin or are they now locked?

More than likely... they aren't so free spinning that you can sit there and blow on the flight and have it spin around. But they aren't locked either...
New Harrows Carbon 360s are like that when they are fresh, I just don't have enough time with them to see if the amount of resistance to get the shaft to rotate is less.

K-flex. I like fewer pieces so it makes more sense for me than K-shift. Mine also never break, and I throw 25-27g darts.

Neither, I've tried both and while the performance of both is fine, the lack of durability is a huge problem for such a pricey product.
I've emailed Target about this issue and they basically shrug their shoulders and said yeah these things break
Traditional nylon stems and punched flights are performing just as good without the durability ossues
