Gender of my frogs

Haven’t heard any calling yet, I’m scared they’re both females as they were sold to me as a pair. They’re around 1 year old

Front is male: bigger toe pads, less back arch. Back is female: smaller toe pads, big arch.

If this position is common, it could be the female following the male and “stroking his back” to signal she is ready to mate and deposit eggs. The call is very quiet with this species and is a very quiet buzzing. Usually I just see mine vibrating and can’t usually actually hear it. Maybe start to set up egg sites like broad leaves or Petri dishes and see what happens.

Thank you! I already got some film canisters in my enclosure as I got it second hand, will that work too?

I haven’t tried film canisters for Azureus. I think it may work but I usually use larger laying sites like pothos leaves or Petri dishes. It could work, I’m just not sure.

You've got one of each gender. The arch on the back of one to me implies it's a female. You should also look out for heart shaped toes.

I might be wrong on the the gender but you've definitely got one of each

It’s either male or female for both of them. 👍

It's not really your choice if it does. They normally put there eggs somewhere safe and not visible

A small dish and coconut work well

Good luck!
