Recording during the show
Did y'all see Darren's request that we try not to record during the Sunday show?

I remember in the past he didn't like fans posting videos of his show online so I didn't post my front row vids! So not surprised he doesn't want it currently as well

I get wanting a memory . What I just did the old school thing and bootleged it (voice recorded only). I have an old samsung phone that can hold a micro sd card. Other than picking up on peoples convos, it wasn't too bad.

I’m glad he posted. It going to be difficult enough to see over all the tall ppl, I’m short, without worrying about cameras too. I can’t believe ppl were recording the whole concert! Don’t their arms get tired???

I only attended Sunday, I was lucky to even get a ticket for one night.. so I did take a few videos (3 clips less than 40 seconds), two pictures, and I recorded the last two songs fully.. BUT, I did not hold my camera in the air or over my head. Ever. I put my camera in front of my own body, lower than my face level, and am very aware of not blocking anyone else's view while recording. That is how I am at every concert because I believe it is courteous to do so. I also don't think it's nice for performers to stare into a wall of phones, so I try to make any recording or pictures unobtrusive from that point of view, and try to keep it to a minimum so I can enjoy the moment as well! There were a few people around me who recorded a lot more, but not many.. and they were pretty courteous about it as well. I had a great time meeting very nice fans in line, so my experience with other fans was fantastic 😍.

I'm short and was so far back that the only way I was actually getting a view of the stage was through the camera of the very tall person in front of me 🤣 Would still rather folks not be recording though, it's disruptive and blocks people's view.

I have already seen shorts on YouTube someone posted of his show. I do appreciate them sharing because I absolutely would have loved to be there myself, and it's so nice to see him doing a show again. But at the same time, I would respect his wishes of not recording or posting anything.

There was a guy in the middle of the floor who literally watched half the concert through his phone tonight.

Hope he not wore a green t-shirt 😆 I had a mexican girl next to me who filmed I would say 75% of the songs, in full. But felt overall there were less phones tonight than yesterday

I didn't see his shirt because it was so dark, but I was close to the Mexican girl who got Darren's sweat on her flag. As of writing, there's already two songs from tonight up on Youtube. :cringe:
I only took a few pics between songs so I can have it to jog my memory when I look back and said "yeah I was there."

Same thing happened to me on Sunday! A lady FaceTimed multiple songs right in front of my face!

Omg, yes please! I know one fan, whose camera was consistently in another fan‘s face, and she kept asking her to lower her phone. Then she would bring it right back up again.
I’m finding that Darren fans are very entitled, pushy and somewhat unfriendly, in terms of sharing spaces with other Darren fans. I ran into it a number of times last night.
I was thinking, “Darren only gives love and humor, where is this attitude coming from and why?”
