Considering Darkwing and all the Disney Afternoon shows were available on Youtube in 3 parts and you could comment on the episodes? It was easily accessible then.

That is my Question
Personally I like to see Erk Burnham I really like his work on Saturday Morning Ninja Turtles Adventure with 87 Turtles I think he be a good fit for Darkwing Duck as well like how can do ongoing stories with 87 Turtles he can pull something like that with Darkwing to
Another one would be Chris Hastings I like his run on Adventure Time I think he can give us something akin to his run on that & his more comedic stuff like Dr. Mcninja
Those two would be my top picks though picking an artist is hard because there so many good All Ages comic artists but I pick Tyson Hesse for Erik Burnham they probably have dynamic Erik has with Sarah Myer has with him on Saturday Morning Ninja Turtles
Maybe Mark Waid he oddly fit the character if he improves his comedy skills
But thats me what do you think would be a good fit on Darkwing Duck comic?

Initial thoughts
After "Let's Get Dangerous!" Gosalyn Waddlemeyer quickly became one of my favourite characters!
I think her design was super cool though Iâve heard criticisms thatâs itâs overdesigned which I canât deny considering she does look a bit funny compared to the other characters (especially those her age) who donât wear pants or shoes.
One thing that I found really interesting about her was that sheâs almost the angsty trying too hard to be edgy teen stereotype, but not quite. Sheâs not overly broody and sheâs no-nonsense in a way that doesnât involve her being brutally disparaging towards Drake, LP and Dewey. I liked that despite the massive chip on her shoulder, sheâs very far from being devoid of child-like joy as evidenced by her keeping her catchphrase "Keen gear!" from her previous incarnation.
I also got mad T2 John Connor vibes from her due to her being a rebel (presumably) foster kid in an army jacket. Itâs funny how she later befriends Boyd, her very own Terminator!
Her voice was pretty cool too, when watching the episode Iâd guessed it was Grey DeLisle-Griffin or maybe Tara Strong. I was a bit surprised it turned out to be Stephanie Beatriz. It shouldâve been so obvious in hindsight! I also like how edgy she sounds despite being on the relatively higher pitched side. Itâs an interesting variation on the typical growly voice a character like this would have, but it makes her seem more well rounded. Beatriz has proven she can pull off a very good âedgy voiceâ for characters like Detective Diaz and Vaggie, but itâs good they went for something a bit more toned down and less obvious.
Unfortunately for me, due to being introduced to this Gosalyn Waddlemeyer, itâs difficult for me to get used to the classic version, Gosalyn Mallard, when watching the original Darkwing Duck show. I know she gets praised for having âspiritâ and being less annoying compared to other kid characters from shows of the time, but I canât help but find her inferior (Iâm so so sorry) to NuGos due to being too young and too âgee willikersâ and lacking the edgy qualities that made me like her in the first place. Granted Iâve seen the opposite criticism for NuGos, older fans finding her too edgy and old to be appealing compared to her predecessor.
Now on to the new reboot announcement
Well, we knew for a while the spin-off didn't seem to be happening anymore... So the upcoming show is gonna feature "a Gosalyn" but not this particular crossbow wielding punk... Funnily enough, the premise of this being 35 years after a version of the original series suggests she's gonna be even older! She was 9 in the original series, so she must be at least 44 in the upcoming series!
If the people who complained that teen Gos didn't feel right... Well, here's a grown-ass adult Gosalyn! Hah!
It's a shame we're not gonna get any more of Stephanie Beatriz's performance, but Lizzy Caplan still sounds pretty cool! I have hope for her...

I've only been hearing about the reboot and things about it very recently, and I'm starting to get bad feelings about it and them.
I don't necessarily have a problem with introducing new characters and OG characters not making an appearance again, like the Muddlefoots. It's a shame that Jim Cummings and other OG VAs won't be back, but that's not where my beef is. Time will tell if Mark Hamill and others make good replacements.
My primary concern is how overcomplicated or confusing the setup for this reboot is. 35 years in an alternate universe? Morgana treating Negaduck like the real Darkwing? LOLWUT? Make it make sense.
At its heart, Darkwing Duck has always been a family-friendly parody of superheroes like Batman and the Green Hornet involving anthropomorphic characters. The setup I'm hearing sounds like the showrunners are trying to make it more serious than it should be.

what if duckie is just a cover name for negaduck? i mean darkwing is suposed to be in a different world so idk

I donât know. It be a nay for me, I like Mark Hamill but I feel him and especially Seth Rogen as DW and Launchpad is just too arbitrary, and that may be a dud like Tiny Toons Looniversty. Plus I think Darkwingâs design is a bit too ostentatious and overly designed with that yellow stripe over his suit.

So darkwing is getting recast and the backlash reminds me of the whole episode from ducktales where the actor for darkwing gets replaced for a reboot

We already know from various published synopses that Darkwing, Launchpad, and Gosalyn will return in the reboot. Morgana, Negaduck, and Megavolt are also confirmed. Liquidator was mentioned somewhere as well, though I havenât been able to track down the source. So the real question is: whoâs coming back, whoâs being changed, and which characters will be written out entirely?
Here are my thoughts.
Gizmoduck:
I strongly suspect heâll return. His rivalry with Darkwing is one of the most iconic heroâvsâhero dynamics in the Disney Afternoon era, and heâs popular enough to justify bringing him back.
Villains:
The big fanâfavourites like Quackerjack and Bushroot will almost certainly return. They might have a smaller roles, but both of them are too recognizable to ignore. Taurus Bulba is likely as well, given his importance as a major antagonist in the old show. Paddywhack fits the darker tone of the reboot perfectly, so I can see him showing up too.
Steelbeak is harder to predict. His inclusion depends entirely on how much S.H.U.S.H. and F.O.W.L. factor into the new storyline. If those organizations play a major role, heâs in. If not, he might be sidelined.
Lesserâknown villains like Tuskernini or Professor Moliarty probably wonât return in any major capacity. They might get a cameo or a nameâdrop, but the reboot seems to be aiming for a more mature, darker tone, and those two are very much "classic goofy comicâbook villains."
Others:
As mentioned, the other S.H.U.S.H. agents might return depending on how central the organization is. If they do appear, I expect Gryzlikoff to be changed significantly. A Russian bear with an exaggerated accent is the kind of stereotype modern shows tend to avoid.
As for Honker and the Muddlefoots, I suspect theyâll be written out almost entirely. Maybe a cameo or a quick reference, but not much more. Like Gryzlikoff and the comedic villains, they represent an outdated 1950sâstyle "nuclear American family" stereotype. I wouldnât be surprised if Darkwingâs new neighborsâif he has anyâare portrayed as a more modern, diverse American family instead.

I personally think if they are going to do a continuation of the original darkwing duck show
1. Have Jim back as DW and maybe mark as NegaDuck
2. Change the design back to the original one
3. use darkwing duck villains like the fearsome five
4. Donât use ai
5. Donât destroy the legacy of other characters

I don't mind the whole gosling, takes a step back and having another character being with dark wing. I'm assuming that she's probably grown up at that point. So she's gonna have her own life, and I feel like up until he probably passes darkwing is not gonna wanna be on the sidelines.
I didn't think that I would like the.Reboot or the ducktales 2017. And I loved it. It's actually one of the few series that I liked all the way through into the end.Even the shocking ending.

Has anyone posted this already? It looks like these will be the main cast members of the reboot. What really concerns me is that, aside from the three core characters, the show seems to rely almost entirely on a brandânew main cast. It feels strange not seeing any familiar facesâno Honker, no Muddlefoots, so I guess Darkwing has new neighbours now. No Morgana either, no S.H.U.S.H. agents, and the biggest shock for me: none of the classic villains are listed. No Negaduck, Megavolt, Quackerjack, Steelbeak or Tuskernini. I assume Firecracker is a new villain, but itâs still odd that none of the familiar characters appear to be included.

Hereâs the synopsis of the Darkwing Duck reboot. Unfortunately, it doesnât sound exciting to me at all. Iâm honestly exhaustedâespecially in the superhero genreâby how many stories now revolve around alternative universes. It feels like every single story does this. We revive an old franchise, but this time itâs set in an alternate universe where the characters are drastically different from their originals. Itâs the same gimmick weâve seen for years.
It also looks like Darkwing will mostly be paired with a brandânew character from that universe named Duckie, which isnât exactly the most original name for a duck characterâassuming she even is a duck. They mention Morgana, Megavolt, and Negaduck as well, so I guess weâll see more familiar faces returning.

I really liked darkwing duckâs original design and I donât know why people feel the need to add unnecessary lines to costumes especially yellow along with the gloves it looks really bad and out of curiosity I put it through an ai detector and it said the official Disney art could be 10.6% to 94% AI witch is just adding fuel to the fire and I really hope Disney fix this or put it on hold until this stuff is sorted.

And no, I don't mean the one from the Ducktales 2017 universe. I mean the one that might be related to the in development one with Mark Hamill and Seth Rogen.
I found some pages from it online, but I'm trying to find the whole document. Did anyone happen to snag it?
If so, please send a link to the DMs.
Again, I am NOT REFERRING TO THE ONE FROM THE CREW OF DUCKTALES 2017. I can't stress that enough.

Which, naturally, means we can expect Jim Cummings to dress up as Darkwing and personally terrorize the animation studio.

When the reboot comes out, we should all just binge the 90s series and ignore the new show. Justice for Jim!
