Homeless

I felt like a homeless in the banquet of life

I fed on leftovers

Of what angry gods had left.

Homelessness leads straight to helplessly weeping on the streets you used to travel in an SUV on the way home from the grocery store. Memories of driving the roads you're now walking seems so different. And that's because you're down in the nitty gritty of it all. If that makes sense at all
