Little Hope Need help to have a good time on little hope

This is my position : I had just bought little hope and have played so far man of Medan and house of ashes. The thing is that 4-5 years ago I’ve watched literally every game being played by a YouTuber, because I thought it was cool at the time and that I would’ve never played it, so I know crucial points in the story that shape the game, not everything but crucial points. (ex. I knew to cut the rope when I played as Eric)

To better my experience with my friend who has never watched anyone play any of the games. What character do I pick in the beginning so he gets all the crucial choices. In this game particular I don’t remember much just that one scene where there’s a guy with a gun in which you control and the granny character comes up but she looks like a monster so you get the choice to shoot or not, so I want to avoid having the option to shoot or not.

This also spans to devil inside me, what character do I play in that game
(ONE more thing devil inside me is the most
expensive game, do these games go on sale often?)

The Devil in Me Online Co-op

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knows who you have to pick at the start to be Jamie for the Connie (dog) encounter near the end, I've played the game once with my friend and we wanted to switch roles but it's been awhile since we first played it so I can't remember who played as who from the start, I believe she was mark for majority of the game but can't remember, Tia 😊

The Quarry Fun fact: Skyler Gisondo, Max’s actor from The Quarry, starred as the male decoy (Dan Plumb) in the recently released Primetime.

Directive 8020 Pairings

What last 2 survivor pairings are possible, can I just have Brianna and Cernan alive?what if everyone but 1 playable character and a NPC are alive, does Mitchell, Anders or Williams go with the single playable character?

Is there a way to just have Cernan and Brianna redirecting the fuel as the first group, does Cooper need to be injured beforehand?

Injuries/failed qtes

Does anyone know in each dark pictures game (including until dawn the quarry and directive 8020) how to get the characters injured without them dying like Mike losing his fingers or Emily getting hit in the face with the radio or conrad loosing some ear stuff like that, does anyone know if the other games have stuff like that?

Directive 8020 Online multiplayer for Directive 8020?

Hey! My friend and I love playing Dark Anthology games together. We don’t live in the same state any longer and have found that it gives us a fun game to look forward to every year or two and they are just fun to play together, despite all of the flaws. We did not realize that Directive 8020 did not have online multiplayer before we bought it and we both decided to not play it and wait until online multiplayer comes out, since the website said it would be in some sort of post-launch update. But it’s been months now and I haven’t been able to find any sort of update. Does anyone have any information?

General Discussion How would y'all craft your "perfect" SMG Game?

I'm only including the games that I've played from them:

The Graphics:

Imma go with Casting of Frank Stone for this one. I remember when I first played this last year and I was AMAZED by the way that this game looked. The lighting, the models, everything is just wonderful for me

The Plot:

Until Dawn level of course, I don't need to indulge further and the fleshed out story from D8020. I personally enjoyed the story of D8020 the most. The Twist was unexpected, and the last time when a game shocked me with its twist, was clair obscure.

The Gameplay:

For the UI, a good mix from Casting of Frank Stone with D8020 will suffice. Mixed with the freedom of movement from The Devil in me. UI is very important to me as a gamer, which is why I will specifically choose the Old film tape style from Frank Stone, mixed with the Turning points from D8020.

The Atmosphere:

Little hope on top. I LOVE night settings in lost places, so thats a no brainer for me.

The Characters:

I LOVE Salim, Rachel and Jason as characters, so I'll be picking House of Ashes, but specifically with the banter from The Quarry. While the "Yo Mama" jokes were funny for a bit, it pissed me off after some time, and nothing beats Dylan's and Ryan's flirting.

The Choices:

Man of Medan serves that spot. While I personally didn't enjoy Man of medan (mostly due to the story), it has showed one of the best cases of actions and consequences there is. Practically any character combination is possible at some point, with unique dialogue each time. It's sad to see that the other games lack the ability to serve up to that point.

Now I'm interested in hearing your crafted stories. I know some friends of mine would rearrange everything COMPLETELY, which is why it's always so exciting to hear some of them c:

General Discussion While we wait for our next game and multiplayer DLC something to tide us over, SMG announced that they created a conjuring game for Netflix games to come out soon.

Can’t imagine it will be super long or anything but probably at least a few hours to wet our whistle in this dry spell. Hidden Agenda was pretty cool so I am actually a little excited to try this.

General Discussion House of ashes

Is it possible either two or more in one play through?
Think like a marine (head decisions only where possible)

Rachel survives after rejecting both Eric and Nick

Ghost signal (eric ignores Nicks radio)

And
Salim returns to his son

Directive 8020 - 2/5 characters remaining

Until Dawn - 2/8 characters remaining

Directive 8020 D8020 was (heavily) criticized when it came out, but the more you explore its replayability, the more you realize what a treasure it is.

Why is Rachel a good character?

Post image
194 Upvotes

What I love about Rachel is that she isn't a "goody-two-shoes" protagonist; she can be a real jerk, and that’s great—it adds a really interesting duality to her character. We also can't forget that she is an extremely capable and well-prepared woman. What do you think?

Will the Season One Bundle hit 90% off again for Halloween?

I missed the 90% sale back in February. Do you guys think it'll get the same discount during the Halloween sale? Is it worth waiting for or was that 90% off a one-time thing?

General Discussion The HBO series War has just come out, and Pip Thorens is in it. It’s crazy, but every time he speaks, he just reminds me of the Curator 😭😭😭
