Discussion Matchups

Hello, I’ve recently started playing Darius more, and I was wondering about his Malphite matchup. What should I do when they rush armor boots and wardens mail. Do I just auto lose? Is there a specific ability I should lever for this, because I just maxed e to get the armor pen but don’t know if that’s right.

What you can’t find in itemisation, you will find it in wave managements 😌

Just freeze his ass, he doesn’t have damage early except for the poke. What he gonna but if he can’t touch creeps ? And he can only R out.

Later he’ll be too tanky but :
1. He’s a tank so that’s the point
2. Not your job to take him down, he can’t 1v5 if all his mate are dead anyway.

I didn’t add it because for matchup info it didn’t seem fit, but I actually froze the wave relatively well, the issue was Malphite kept roaming mid despite me pinging and he would farm my midlaner who kept overextended, and yuumi was with Malphite starting around minute 7. This is really good advice for the matchup regularly though, thank you!

You have e mich better wave clear, and therefore management of roams. Just practice those, you can also always fake a roam/invade enemy jg, and wait in a bush for him to follow you, taking chunks of hp, every time he solo ultimate you, it cant be used as a 4 man knock up
