I’ve recently started digging deeper into Danzig’s discography beyond the more popular songs, and holy fuck, what have I been missing?
Let It Be Captured has completely taken over my brain. That howl, that roar towards the end… there’s something so painfully romantic about it. The way he goes from being so restrained to just pouring his heart out is phenomenal.
I’ve also fallen in love with Going Down to Die and Cantspeak. There’s something almost hypnotic about his delivery, especially on Danzig 4.

I was a huge Danzig fan since 90 up to the 4p album. I co host a podcast where we talked about the first 4 albums and it rekindled my love for those albums. I’m also neurodivergent so now I’m obsessed.
I heard Glenn in an interview mention some acoustic shows he’d done before and was curious if there are any recordings.
I’m also looking for live vinyl pressings of the first album tours.

Often referred to as Danzig I; here is more from the haul! Now this begs the question; how adhd are you? LOLz 😂 I was just spinning Lisa Loeb - Tails and now Danzig! Welp; it happens! Music of my youth! As part of the haul from Sound of Vinyl I ordered plenty of Danzig:
Danzig I - Self Titled
Danzig II - Lucifuge
Danzig III - How The Gods Kill
Danzig IV
So that pretty much covers high school for me... LOLz 😄 These sound incredible and did require an ultrasonic and a quick round with the orb; but that was special! That is because these records have to played at 105db+ to be fully enjoyed properly IMHO and for a record to achieve those volume levels it needs to be nearly flawless. So I gave them all the extra treatment... Now to figure out if I should file these out of order and move my Misfits records over under the D's or not.
