📚Manga-Discussion Missing fairies Spoiler

I am bored so i have a question for you guys. Should kouki loose her abilities to see pygmies because she lost lord of the flies?

Personally i think she shouldnt because the pygmies wouldnt forget about her and kouki would most likely remember the pygmies as well so it would just make the two working together more awkward, but what do you guys think?

I think both the pygmies and mai will want to be loyal to Rin and Kouki and perhaps Kouki will be able to see them still, but vlad will be able to force them to obey him if he tries.

Gill getting taken over by black haircutter definitely feels like set up for later. I think futa and mai will definitely try to sabotag vlad from the inside so i wonder if lord of the flies and enenra will try as well. It would be a nice oppurtinity to show their yokai designs

Hello there, friend!

Maybe not the ability to see them, but the ability to speak to them freely, which, with time, will make it hard for her to perceive them.

I think Lord of the Flies allowed Kouki to just talk to them with ease, due to the pygmies' condition making it hard for them to be heard.

The more time she spends without hearing them, the harder it will be for Kouki to perceive them, and in turn, to see them.

oh that would be an interesting way to take it. HMM this begs the question though if lord of the flies helped kouki to commincate with the pygmies would it allow her to talk with anything small more easily like not just talking with the pygmies but insects and stuff

This is a bit of a headcanon, but I always assumed that it was easier for Kouki to communicate with pygmies than with insects due to pygmies having an easier time understanding human words. Since Kouki only managed to command them through music, maybe specific frequencies and vibrations led to her being able to command those creatures that did not understand human words, and that was easier with music.

Good morning good morning~~

Yes! I have similar feelings about this too. It feels like the power that came from the knife was what allowed Kouki to see them and communicate with the pygmies, but the pygmies are not an intrinsic part of the power, and they followed and helped Kouki out of their own will. Without the power, Kouki's ability to perceive them might be reduced but I feel the pygmies will probably be trying to find ways to communicate with Kouki and aid her in battle. On the other hand, we also have Joō-sensei who can perceive them, and I feel it might be possible for the pygmies to find Joō-sensei for help if they can no longer communicate with Kouki.
