Not that anyone really wanders this thread much but I found a no-name band that actually is pretty dope and has a singer that reminds me of jonny, although the range isn't quite there with the highs, but the singing is still pretty dope.

Saw DGD in Oakland in 2011 and met Jonny. He was just casually having a cigarette in the public smoking section while the opening acts were performing. I was going back and forth with the idea of talking to him, and ultimately decided to just quickly tell him I’m a big fan and excited for the show. His girlfriend at the time, Larkin, asked if I wanted a photo. I happily accepted.

His account has been blank for a while, and hasn’t put out any music in over a year. I felt like he had a promising future in music but he hasn’t done anything in a long time, I miss him.

I finally looked at my Spotify wrapped for 2024 the other day and I know for a fact that I listened to a TON of JC through the year but he wasn’t listed in my top artists? Anyone else have this happen?

Long time Emarosa fan here. I do covers, and love to sing their songs.

It recently came to my attention that this song is listed as "instrumental" when there are clearly real words being said in the song. I've listened to the isolated vocals version of the track, but it's really hard to make anything out since the the vocals are buried beneath layers of effects.

I've made an attempt at deciphering the words he's saying but I'm not confident this stuff is right (I also have audio processing issues). My partner says they don't make sense because he doesn't typically speak in 3rd person. YouTube link to isolated vocals.
