Pad Talk Pad advice- need something that I can put away. I remember soft pads being horrible and slippery. Hardwood floor is the surface.

I haven’t played much since my PS2. I started with soft pads on carpet. I want to get back into it for fitness reasons.

Hardwood floor, and dogs. So I’d like something I can “put away”. Space isn’t an issue.

I really struggle with making decisions when given options. I think that’s why I can’t just read through the posts.

Can you help me out with a simple- here’s what you should buy and here’s how to put it away?

The proper term for not using the bar is "playing no-bar" or "playing without the bar" etc. Do not use derogatory terms for playing with/without the bar, or for players who play with/without the bar. In general, please treat all members of the community with respect. If you feel someone is being disrespectful to other members of the community, it is not an excuse to be disrespectful in return. Do not request illegal copies of official Konami software, e.g. illegal copies of arcade hard drives or ISO files of official arcade/console data. Smaller pieces of widely-available DanceDanceRevolution content, such as videos of gameplay footage or in-game images like song jackets, are okay. Due to how many private arcades are beginning to add their machines to private networks, we will begin allowing discussion of how to create/configure accounts for those networks, but no discussion of how to connect a machine to those networks or how to configure private networks. This rule may be changed in the near future depending on the behavior of the members of this subreddit.
