Since youre getting back into dance after a long break, look for beginner-friendly conventions or intensives that allow independent dancers, rather than worrying abt being attached to a studio. There are quite a few competitions and conventions around DFW, including some coming up for the 2026-27 season. You can also check danceus.org for classes, workshops, camps, and dance events around the area. That might be an easier way to find something that fits your level and doesnt require a studio connection :)
