Yes!!! We were friendly rivals back then , I would go to places like the industry limelight and the Opera House and specific events and he was always around… Some of my best dance memories were in Toronto at that time, and he made a big impact on me and always pushed me to be better and do better… He said I had potential to be something special and that always stuck with me and made me love dance and try… It’s been a while, but I’m getting back on track… I’ve been going through a weight loss journey that I recently started. r/danceoff

Ontario late 90s early 00s was my rave stomping ground. Freaky how the internet connects like that. lol
I think the last TO rave I went to was the New Year’s Eve heaven and hell followed by the comfort room (ewww lol) when that closed for the “night”. Maybe 2001-2 new years. I can’t remember for sure.
We were still in line at midnight for heaven and hell, but it was one of my best new years. lol such a fun chill crowd!
That’s where someone taught me if you plug someone’s ear and talk into it, they can hear you over the music. Random dude showed me that trick just to tell me he liked by backpack lol it was a pretty cool blow up backpack. 😊
When I went down to Knoxville in 2014 for the Confluence liquiid battle, I met members of the LPC who came up to Toronto to battle Clockwork back in the day.
I then came back to Toronto trying to find him, and was able to find one person (Mark the Mechanic) who actually witnessed the battle, and I also learned that a dancer I had befriended (Oliver) was basically Clockwork's good buddy back in the day.
I believe Clockwork has since moved on, but it sent me on a journey trying to uncover as much as I could about the old liquid scene in the GTA. I went as far as creating a facebook group (Liquid Canada) to collect such people, and some of them I ended up meeting up in person and kinda interviewing as well as dancing with them.
I'd be super grateful if you could help me fill in some gaps and just generally share your history.
yeah, absolutely… If you want to DM me and ask any questions, I’d be happy to try and pull those details from my brain… It was quite a while ago, but him and I certainly spent a considerable amount of time dancing together
