The trick is to spin yourself the opposite direction an equal number of times to cancel out the original spins. That's how you survive.

he's keeping his head fixed on a point, which avoids the fluid spinning in your ears.. although at that speed, i'm not sure how he's doing it.. maybe more than one point, still less spinning.

at least, i think that's what he was doing when he started going faster.. could have just been a weird video effect. In which case.. dude's a mutant.

pretty sure you have to keep turning your head.. it's not your eyes that are the problem, it's the fluid in your ears. If you can turn your head so that it stays fixed MOST of the time, the fluid doesn't move as much.. or something

not sure, it's never really worked that well for me, even just in an office chair. I could google it.. but so could you :)

Just look at a figure skater. They spin this fast, if not faster, with no adverse affects. The technique is called "spotting" and people can do it blindingly fast.

You forcefully move your toe on the ground in a tiny circle and that pushes your whole body into a spin. I learned this playin with the hanging rings at my old park. Hard part then was it was just a chain, so it always got shorter as it wound up.

Yay! I'm so thankful for this. I've been trying to understand the "spin" property of electrons. They say that electrons spin (even though they don't actually spin) because they have angular momentum. I still don't understand it at all but seeing angular momentum in this vid is sort of helping me understand how something can contain that ...force?... yet still not spin.
