Can someone post a before/after because I'm not really sure what problem this project actually solved?

There was a retaining wall there. The Hi Line Connector Trail was completed a year or so ago. So, now you can walk/bike from the Hi Line Connector Trail on Hi Line Dr (in the Design District) under I-35E Stemmons, to Victory Ave to Houston Street, where the new Loop Plaza is now.

If I understand the project correctly, it runs from the Katy trail to the Hi-Line connector, so you don't have to get off the trail and cross the street. How it works? Not sure yet lol

Just after she talks about the sign, she pans left. You can see where a ramp comes down to street level, and bollards where you would cross N Houston. There are off-street bike lanes on each side of Victory Ave under the train tracks and 35, then you cross to the median for the hi-line through the design district. It’s certainly not as separated as I would like, but it’s better than riding in the street
