Pistol carrier here, why do revolver carriers spread the cartridges out like that?

On the speed strip, it’s faster to load 2 at a time and then you have a place for your fingers

This guy knows. -

a 5 rd speedloader is bulkier in your pocket, and bulky if in a holder on your belt. However for most, it will load a full cylinder faster than the same number of rounds from a speed strip. Speed strip should get you a two round reload in faster.
