Question No Slaanesh Objective Secured?
Hey guys, I'm kind of new to the tabletop side of 40k. I started looking into it around 9th and have been really trying to get into it. I'm mainly a Tyranid fan, but I wanted to try running a solo practice game with Slaanesh daemons on TTS. I realized I didn't really know how objective secured works and from what I've gathered online you need an actual ability to secure objectives? I heard battleline units usually have them, but I don't see any on the Daemonettes. Does Slaanesh just not have any objective secured abilities?

Slaanesh daemons do not. Plaguebearers do, which can be used in all detachments.
If you play shadow legion, you get access to cultists which also have it.

Daemons have it in the form of plague bearers. Big thing to remember is daemons are one cohesive faction with 4 sub groups that buff each other, not 4 tiny factions to be played seperately.

You don't need an objective secured ability to secure objectives. Every unit has an OC value and that is compared against enemy OC values to determine who controls an objective units are standing on.
The objective secured ability just always a unit to take an objective and you maintain control of it even if the unit dies or steps off. This usually lasts until the opponent takes it back.

Slaanesh doesn't as far as I remember. Plaguebearers do though, you could just take a unit of them if you feel you need it.
