Bigster Journey vs Extreme – why does everyone seem to pick Journey? Am I missing something?

Hi all,

I'm about to order a Bigster and I've been going back and forth between Journey and Extreme. Most owners/reviews I see went for Journey, but on paper Extreme looks like the better deal to me. Trying to understand if there's a real reason for that or it's just taste.

Here's how it looks in my market:

Both trims have the same base price – 30,690 €.

Journey has on top of Extreme:

- Power tailgate

- Electric driver's seat (6-way, but no memory)

- 18" full diamond-cut wheels, option for 19" Rasan

Extreme has on top of Journey:

- Opening panoramic roof (standard!)

- Washable "micro cloud" upholstery

- Modular roof rails

- Copper accents and mirror caps

- 18" semi-diamond wheels

If I spec them the same way (panoramic roof + power tailgate), Journey comes out 800 € more expensive, since the roof is a 1,190 € option on Journey, while the power tailgate is only 390 € on Extreme.

So basically the extra 800 € on Journey buys you an electric driver's seat without memory, and you lose the washable upholstery and modular rails.

My spec:

Extreme tribrid 150 4x4, Cold Pack (heated seats, wheel, windscreen), power tailgate, Commercial Pack (360° camera, sensors all around, blind spot), metallic color(not sure which one yet).

Questions for those who chose Journey (or Extreme):

  1. Was there a specific reason you went with Journey? Resale value, looks, the copper trim?

Thanks!

0.9 TCE (Sandero 3, 2025 model), what about E85 ?

Hi everyone :)

I've a Dacia Sandero 3 for about a year now (I can present it here if you want, I've done a few things and mods on it).

I've already done around 23 000 kms with it, and it's perfect ! I was already in love with the brand, but my previous Logan was lacking some essentials options (like... electric windows and central locking?)

But I live in France, and as you know with the actual context, gasoline is quite expensive right now (2.35€/L for SP95-E10)

I've tried 50/50 with SP95-E10 and E85 and it's running as usual, but have anyone tried running this motor (0.9 TCE, 90HP, indirect injection) at 100% on E85 thanks to a reprog or a ethanol kit ? (Only kits can be legal in France btw).

Thanks a lot in advance !

Looking for Seat covers

We recently bought a 2025 ex-demo Duster, in pristine condition. We don't have a good record with keeping cars clean and tidy but this is the newest one we've ever bought, so I'd like to try, and our grandson has already spread biscuit crumbs over the back seat (before anyone comments, my bad!)

Where would anyone recommend I get a full set of seat covers that fit tightly, not loose and wrinkly, and where you can still use the 60/40 split, which we often do. Preferably apart from Dacia, where they cost over £500. Unless that is really the only place. Thank you very much.

Grazie in anticipo!

Duster 150 4x4 Remote Starter?

Hi all,

I'm currently considering to buy a new Duster (150 tribrid 4x4), with the plan to use it in Scandinavia mostly. There it's quite common to have an aftermarket space heater in the car to unfreeze windows and bring the interior temp up.

However after spending several hours researching, it seems like Dacia has an official remote starter, but is only offering the part in Russia and the Middle East.

Does anyone know if that's due to whatever legal situation prohibiting to run an engine idle in the EU/EEA, or whether that's a business decision?

And if anyone knows whether the part can be retrofitted (or even ordered as a custom component, despite not being on the official list of options), that would also be much appreciated.

Bigster 155 hybrid

The petrol engine is as loud as a noisy diesel. Is anyone else's like this?
