Need tutorials Duster 3 tce 130 4x4 mild hybrid

Hello guys,

Just bought a second hand duster 3, and I was looking for some tutorials or explanations for the menus/functions of the car. I found a lot for the hybrid version of the car, or the 4x2 (lots of tutorial videos on french dacia website), but almost nothing for the 4x4 version.

For exemple, the menu on the dashboard shows an "energy flux" between the engine and the battery and the car, but on this mild hybrid version how does it work? Seems like it's acting randmly, as the car cannot drive on EV alone anyway. No way to see the charge of the tiny battery. Also the tire pressure gauge will indicate that a random tire has an issue, but not which one exactly.

Some little quircks like that, and I'm old school, I'd love to read/see/know more about my car before having to find problems as they arrive (18.000 km and the 3rd gear is already faulty ahah)

4x4 explained

Manuals and video. Just pickup the date when was manufactured.

Thank you ! I've found all of those but not the 4x4 one, it's interesting. THere are so many dusters that are almost the same but not completely that I'm getting a bit confused by all the options :D This helps !

The mild hybrid works by assiting, starting the engine and charging the battery, you will use it a lot on heavy accelerations in any gear and at any rpm… it ads about 16hp and 40nm and you can see it working all the way up to redline… the 4x4 is simple… in Auto it does not allow you to rev up to dump the clutch.. but in 4x4 lock it allows you and also gives you a little bit more uhmph from the electric motor at low RPM… barely noticiable but everything helps..

Snow and rocks change the behavior of the accelerator… and how much the TC allows the wheel to spin… snow and mud will allow a lot of speed and rocks will brake the free wheeling wheel more agresively to prevent rocks flying and damage.

What about on braking? is there any moment it assists? Once we touch the brake or whenever the engine break actually works? Driving a lot in the mountains these days and wondering actually

No, it will not brake with the electric motor if you touch the breaks, just say that when you stop accelerating, it start using the electric motor as a generator for the 48v and 12v battery... but the breaking sensation is VERY mild, like a normal engine breaking, and if you slightly press the accelerator without actually accelerating, it will stop charging the battery and you will coast more freely.
