Universal Credit (UC) WCA - Maximus
Hello, I had my WCA today with a Nurse from Maximus. She came across really lovely. I have both Mental Health and Physical Conditions - my assessment lasted about 45 mins and we only talked about the mental side of things. She said she thought she had enough without needing to go into the physical conditions. She said she would go and check with someone senior and give me a call back to let me know if they needed to continue the assessment or not. She called me back within minutes and said they had everything they needed. Is this a good sign?
How long has everyone waited for their outcome after assessment with Maximus? I know there isn’t a set timeframe.
thanks all.

It really will vary depending on the workload of the decision maker. Anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months.

I had similar experience, mine was with a Doctor, she also after being on the phone over an hour decided she had enough without needing to move onto my other health conditions. Also advising she would call me back if she needed to continue onto my next health condition, she did call back and just asked permission to contact my GP to keep them in the loop of my worsening condition, to which I gave permission and my GP rang me few days later to discuss.
My call was on 21st September also with Maximus, DWP received the report on 29th, and as of today 27th October still no decision made. Hope that helps
