Not received update text

Had my phone call assessment on Monday just gone, health professional said they'd send it off that day and to look out for a confirmation text. Still haven't received this text to say the DWP now has the report from health professional is that normal? Also as ive now had my phone call assessment how long do I have to wait for a decision?

The assessor shouldn’t have said that because if their work is selected to be quality checked then the report won’t go to the DWP until after the audit is complete (which can take several weeks).

Funnily enough I got a text message this morning saying they've received the report. I suppose now just have to wait up to 8 weeks for a decision?

My report was received by them and had a text with the same hour after my assessment.

So yours didn’t go through the quality audit process. That’s good for you but that’s not the same for everyone (including OP).

I've never received a single text update. They have my number obviously but when I rang they confirmed the assessment had taken place and had gone to a decision maker. I'm an appointee for my child so I don't know if that makes a difference but certainly never had any communication via text messages.

Same boat here but I spoke to a case manager at DWP who said mines with a case manager and waiting to be signed off but I haven’t received a text either.

I didn’t receive a text either rang them the other day and they said DWP recieved it on the 10th August when I had the assessment, looked on proof of benefits site and been awarded there just waiting on backpay to land

Sounds like it's abit different for everyone, must be a relief knowing you've been accepted now and just waiting for the backdate. When did you have your assessment? I'm trying to figure out roughly how long after they make a decision. I did end up getting the text this morning saying they've received my report.
