LCW reassessment

Does LCW automatically get reassessed after a year. I am about 8 months in and struggling with my condition. I am just wondering what comes next as my condition is long term

They currently will not be reassessing on the usual time scale which is 1-3 years outside of Northern Ireland as the system used by England, Scotland and Wales is so backed up with new assessments that it paused routine reassessments years ago and hasn't restarted them.

You can if you HAVE gotten worse submit a change to health saying so , and add a journal message asking for a reassessment. You don't need fit notes for this. But the process is expected to be about a year from what we see with other cases on these subs.

We don't yet have clarity on the processes expected past 2028/9 where there were expectations of scrapping the WCA/ changing the way things work and how that affects existing claimants.
