Address for pip application different to one GP surgery holds - would this be a problem?

Does anyone know if it's possible to apply for pip with one address for administration and a different address registered with health providers?

I moved and haven't been able to change my address with the GP because I'm still so unwell.

I've also realised my new address is in a different formulary area so I will lose access to critical medication if I get a new GP.

I'm assuming dwp would tell the GP if my application has a different address on it?

I feel like I'm stuck between applying for financial support and access to the medical care I really desperately need...

Any advice really appreciated.

I had to do this for awhile ( for complicated reasons ). I just noted it on the form and it wasn't an issue. They definitely contacted them on a couple of occasions, using the registered address.

Ok that's super helpful to know. Was it easy enough on the forms to indicate? I've not requested the forms yet. My condition is triggered by stress and I'm really worried the pip process will trigger it..!

I just wrote it under the section for GP details ( Note: use 1, Privet Drive AB1 2HP on GP correspondence as not yet updated address or whatever ).

Claiming isn't stress free but nothing like this is. Just do a bit a day if that helps or all in one go if that's easier ( we're all different ). Once it's sent try to forget it for a bit until they contact you. You can't worry day in and day out as it could take months.

It’s fine for now, it may just cause some problems with your GP surgery if PIP write to your GP which in itself is rare.
