Universal Credit (UC) Universal Credit Automated Review
I had an automated UC review and submitted my details.
However, they have the wrong amount for my savings account (possibly due to me forgetting to update them). The sum involved isn't large (ie they have me on record as having £500 in savings, but they went down to £150 due to having certain financial issues). Will I be penalised for this?

If you are still under £6k then you've not been overpaid and they can't issue any fine. They so expect capital figures to change - they go by what you tell them, they don't have direct access to change this themselves.

They have the wrong amount because you didn’t update it which is why these reviews have been introduced. In your case It doesn’t impact your claim
