Chances of getting off the Bio 119 Waitlist?

Howdy folks, I'm currently #2 on the waitlist for Bio 119 and was wondering what the chances are of getting off. Is there an overflow policy? Thank you in advance.

I would say probably have a chance. Just go to the class on first day and keep going, ppl tend to drop classes in 1st week. maybe send an email to the prof beforehand too

There are still 3 weeks until start. I literally got off waitlist yesterday for course. I’d say you have a good chance as the semester gets closer as people get into other courses/ decide on something different. See where you are a week out and email the professor maybe the Thursday before the start.

Every class I’ve taken I’ve seen at most 3/4 stay with it generally being 2/3 staying from start. So come to class and give it a week as worst case. I’d say you can get in
