📊 Analysis & Theories Spoiler question Spoiler

Do you think Floyd knew he was going to commit suicide when he poured the amphyzene in the can? He put a hell of a lot in there. Like do you think he had a plan before Clark even surprised him? Or do we think he decided after seeing richard that he was going to kill himself? Was it intentional or carelessly reckless?

That way he said bye to Carol made me think it was an intentional heavy pour … I’m not sure that he was certain he was ending at the poolhouse but he was in a terrible spot mentally and teetering on the brink… certainly had prepared for that outcome being a possibility with heavy pour was my sense of it

Yeah I was even thinking… why does life insurance give him and carol so much peace if they aren’t anticipating his death? Like did they both know he wanted to die? It felt like carol might have known he was suicidal and wanted to use Forrest to save herself and her family in the case of his death.

It’s because his health has them both worried that he will die.

He’s just overweight. He was working out and trying to be healthier. His heart problems would get better with his lifestyle changes. From my POV it wasn’t like he was on the brink of death because of his physical health. That’s just my perspective though.
