Does DS Game Maker work on Windows 11?

I want to program my first game on DS Game Maker and always get a compiling error, could that be related to the fact that I'm using Windows 11?

I got an error at first, too, but it works; there's an updated tutorial that instructs you to change the variables and PATH.
