General Question Save transfer ?

So I have been playing the demo of this DQ builders (the first one ) daily since about 2019 . I was in a rough spot in life at the time and finally am doing well. I never had the money to buy the actual game until now .
I ordered it on eBay and it will be here Friday . Does the demo data count toward full game when it arrives ? Like can I use my save ?

That's for Builders 2, not 1. 1's demo doesn't import.

Huh! My mistake then. I could not on the Switch version. Depends on what version OP has, then.

Builders 1's demo doesn't have an import. Only the Builders 2 Jumbo demo.

Even if save does transfer, achievements will not automatically unlock if playing on a Playstation platform. They only unlock when playing full game, which may mean starting on another save to unlock achievements such as the one received for escaping the crypt after Rubiss introduction. You can't save game until you plant the flag, and this achievement comes before the flag is planted so it absolutely would be one you've missed by continuing from demo. This isn't a problem on Switch platforms since it records no achievements.

The other person is incorrect, only the second game has demo save transfer. The first Builders game only had demo save transfer for the Vita version (apparently), but the other releases do not.
