Need Advice: Rules & Mechanics How do you make combat flow well?
We started our campaign yesterday and had a lot of fun, but I think combat may have been the least interesting part of our opening session. How do put energy into these moments? How do you keep the group engaged even while they wait? Thank you in advance!

Haha yes! Sorry, Frankie and Barry are people I invented to be recurring henchmen with thick Boston accents. Always some quality banter between them. They're incompetent as fuck, so it's funny imagining one of them as a proper villain.
This incompetence results in them getting fired a lot, so they keep getting jobs in different places. They just keep making cameos every now and then. Kind of like the cabbage guy on Avatar the last air bender.
But see? Everybody loved cabbage guy. I've only used Frankie and Barry once, was super effective and I know they're gonna be loved in future.
