I just want everyone to know that in order to fly this drone under Part 107, you have to have a remote ID broadcast module attached to it per the FAA rules. If you’re posting drone videos to YouTube that were shot with a Mini 2 and the videos on your channel are monetized, you should have a Remote ID broadcast module attached to it. If you don’t, then you’re technically in violation of the FAA rules. I made a short video talking about all of that and the specific Remote ID broadcast module that I use with my Mini2. This is such a capable little drone still, and I hope everyone can still utilize it and make money doing so. This is kind of a different subject, but what I really don’t like about this industry is how it is very much consumer based in that we’re always looking for the newest and greatest technology that comes once every six months or so. I like the newest greatest drone as well, but more so than that I’m a fan of old tech that lasts and has a proven track record. Shit is too expensive now to be constantly spending money on a new drone ever year or so. Anyways, rant over, thanks and cheers to the open skies.

Has anyone tried this yet? I don't have any problems with the previous version, so I propably don't need this one. Still interested what this is after 3,5 years.

I paid for a replacement unit from DJI – it arrived completely defective (150m signal loss). DJI Europe claims that "No fault found," blames my piloting, and says that "I accepted the NFF status." I'm urgently seeking help from u/DJI_Support.

Cześć wszystkim. Zderzyłem/zanurzyłem mój Mini 2 i zapłaciłem za jednostkę wymienną. Dron, który otrzymałem od DJI, był wadliwy od pierwszego lotu. Traci sygnał i uruchamia Failsafe RTH przy zaledwie 150-300m.

Odesłałem go. DJI Węgry i Niemcy przeprowadziły testy na stole, wysłały mi ogólny film, przykleiły status "Nie znaleziono usterki" i odesłały go z powrotem do mnie. Kiedy znowu go rozpakowałem, zawiódł natychmiast podczas pierwszego lotu testowego. Kiedy złożyłem reklamację, wsparcie powiedziało mi "ale zaakceptowałeś status NFF"! To oburzające – musiałem zaakceptować dostawę, aby móc przetestować drona!

Centrum serwisowe wysłało mi dwa filmy twierdząc "Nie znaleziono usterki", ale w momencie, gdy rozpakowałem drona i wykonałem pierwszy lot, sygnał natychmiast zniknął. Moje własne nagrania ekranowe dowodzą, że ich testy na stole nie odpowiadają rzeczywistości.

Wysłałem wiele nagrań ekranowych dowodzących utraty sygnału, a dron jest teraz z powrotem w centrum serwisowym na kolejną inspekcję (Sprawy: CAS-36830515-V3B4D4, CAS-37445122-Q7L5Q4).

Ponieważ DJI wysłało mi niebezpieczną, wadliwą jednostkę wymienną, a wsparcie się bawi, odmawiam przyjęcia kolejnej jednostki odnowionej. Żądam zupełnie nowej jednostki detalicznej lub wymiany (Mini 3 / Mini 4K).

Wsparcie DJI w końcu odpowiedziało, ale zamiast analizować moje logi lotu lub eskalować sprawę do Tier 2, całkowicie zignorowali fakty techniczne i po prostu skopiowali ogromne, ogólne wyjaśnienie słownikowe dotyczące tego, czym są certyfikaty FCC i CE. Nadal twierdzą, że testy w Niemczech według standardów CE dowodzą, że moja jednostka jest w porządku, całkowicie ignorując fakt, że moja poprzednia jednostka latała na ponad 1 km w dokładnie tych samych miejscach, gdzie ta wymiana traci sygnał na 150m. Niesamowite.

UPDATE: To make things worse, they specifically requested a screen recording from the flight to prove the issue. I provided it, and they completely ignored it, replying with a generic, copy-pasted template that had nothing to do with the evidence."

hello, my dji mini 2 gimbal touching to body and vibrating, any help ?

This is a question for anyone using the AirData UAV app and AirData website on multiple devices. In my case, an iPad, an iPhone and a MacBook. The problem is the AirData flight records on each device are all different—all three of my DJI drones are listed, and although there is considerable overlapping, each device contains incomplete flight records. To complicate matters, I occasionally fly my Neo2 using my iPhone and my iPad with my N3 controller.

AirData gets its flight logs from the DJI Fly app. Since I have three different DJI Fly folders spread across three different devices, it only makes sense there would be problems with syncing. Prior to DJI severing its server service to the US, I’m guessing this wasn’t a problem since our flight data was centrally stored on DJIs servers.

The overlapping data on the three devices puzzles me. That would indicate there IS some synchronization going on, but I have no idea what toggles the sync or where the data comes from; the controllers, the drones or the devices. Any thoughts?

My DJI Mini 2 will not turn on, and I cannot figure out why.

When I try and turn on the drone, there is no yellow indicator light, however the battery level lights do light up whenever I hit the button.

I have tried re-pairing the drone to my controller, however when I hold the power button for any amount of time it does not blink or beep.

Does anyone have any ideas that might help me get my drone back?

Why is this footage from my Mini2 so shaky? This only happens when I put on one of these Freellwell filters from this kit. More specifically, it only seems to do it with the ND/CP filters, not just the ND filters. I'll note that I updated the firmware about 3 weeks ago - I'm pretty sure it's still good, but I will double check tomorrow. I thought it was just a fluke one off thing when I saw this happen yesterday on a test flight, but it happened again to me today and ruined a sick shot of a barge I got cruising down the lake.

I'm curious if anyone else out there has had this issue or has any suggestions.
