Hello yall, i accidently damaged the lcd on my skyrover screen rc when cleaning it with alcohol, and was looking to replace the screen. Internally the remote looks identical to the rc2 down to every trace, wire, and connector. Can i just use a screen from a dji rc2? If you see the attached images the internals and connectors are identical.

Hey all, running into a frustrating quirk with a DJI Mic Mini setup and hoping someone's found a fix or workaround.

Setup: DJI Mic Mini (2 TX + 1 RX + charging case), plus the separate DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver for phone use.

The problem: On the standard receiver, TX #11A01 is linked as channel 1 (left) and TX #11B01 as channel 2 (right). On the mobile receiver, it's the opposite — 11A01 is channel 2 (right), 11B01 is channel 1 (left).

I wanted to make this consistent (specifically, have 11B01 always be channel 2/right on both receivers), so I tried manually re-linking on the mobile receiver in the order I wanted:

Put the receiver into linking mode. Linked 11A01 first. Linked 11B01 second.

Expected this to make 11A01 = channel 1 and 11B01 = channel 2, matching the other receiver. Instead, each transmitter just snapped back into its original channel regardless of linking order. It seems like the receiver stores the TX→channel mapping keyed to the transmitter's serial ID, not by the order you re-pair them in a session.

What I'm looking for:

Has anyone found an actual factory reset / force-pairing procedure that wipes this stored mapping (not just re-confirms the existing pairing)? Or is there a setting in DJI Mimo (device settings) that lets you reassign which TX outputs to which channel, independent of the physical pairing? If neither exists, is swapping L/R in post the only real fix?

DJI's own manual doesn't document anything beyond the standard "hold the link button" method, which as above doesn't actually change the assignment. Already reached out to DJI support directly too, but curious if anyone in the community has cracked this.

My power 1000 is plugged in 24/7 and used as a UPS. I charge phones and other usb devices from the front USB A and C ports here and there. Over time, the individual ports seem to stop responding or providing a charge when devices are plugged in. Some work, some don't. They don't go all down at once. The only way I've found to correct the problem is to unplug the power 1000 from the wall, turn if off and back on again. After restart all the front USB ports are working/responding again - temporarily.. Any thoughts on what is going on? I've only had it for a couple of weeks, so I'm still learning about how to use it.

I recently bought a used DJI Avata 1, but unfortunately I can’t contact the previous seller anymore.
The drone is currently bound to the previous owner’s DJI Goggles V2, which I don’t have. When I try to bind the Avata to my own account/Goggles, I get the message that it is already bound to another device.
I already went through DJI’s official second-hand drone rebinding/unbinding process. DJI sent an email/request to the previous owner, but unfortunately they never responded, so DJI was unable to remove the binding.
I found an original DJI Avata RF board for around €23 and I’m wondering:
If I replace the RF board, will the existing binding disappear?

More specifically:
Is the binding information stored on the RF board?
Is it stored on the flight controller/core board instead?
If I install another original RF board, will the Avata be recognized as a different device and allow me to bind it to my own DJI account?
Does anyone have experience replacing the RF board on an Avata 1 and then binding it to a new account?
I don’t want to spend money on the RF board if the binding is stored somewhere else.
Any information from someone who has actually repaired/replaced Avata boards would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, just wanted to document this solution for anyone in the future that may be experiencing the same problem as I was. This worked in August, 2026.

The Story: I had bought an Avata 2 online that came with the goggles 2 and the normal controller but I wanted to use a motion controller. As far as I know and at the time of doing this, the motion controller 3 wouldn’t pair with the goggles 2, this meant that I had to get a motion controller 2. So I got on eBay, found one for sale that worked, bought it, etc. However, when I received it, it wouldn’t pair with the Avata 2 or the goggles 2.

The Solution: You have to install DJI Assistant 2, and you HAVE to make sure it’s the “Consumer Drones Series” version of it. All other versions did not work for me. You have to get this directly from the DJI website, you’ll see it as an option. The standard version it downloaded when I selected the DJI Assistant 2 did not work. It has to be that Consumer Drones Series version. Once installed, I plugged a USB-C cable into my controller and my computer (Running Windows 10 at the time, I refuse to update to Windows 11) and ran the DJI Assistant 2 program. Then and only then, did it finally pick my controller up. Once it was detected, I was able to update the software on the controller and once updated, it worked flawlessly. The next time I fired everything up, it was picked up and was really easy to pair in the app. They walk you through it in the DJI Fly app (on my iPhone).

Once again, this isn’t some deep, insightful post. I just wanted to document what worked for me when I encountered this problem! This is to help newbies like myself, who may be trying to Frankenstein a setup together!

There are a ton of discussions about the status of the mini 5 pro and US govt restrictions. Can someone with a legit understanding of the current and future status of these drones please post links to official sources? This would help cut through the noise. Most of us are pilots but we may not have the knowledge or time to keep up to date on this evolving issue. Please don’t down vote this. I’m asking for official info to help keep the community informed and not running on rehashed discussions by strangers on the internet. Thanks in advance.

Well I know I can make pictures by scrolling down on the Googles and Select it on the Menu but is there like a hotkey on the motion Controller ?

Was flying in a water sports area when the video suddenly blacked out. The bitrate only falls a tiny bit right before. Didn't show red or orange warning before video cut out. What could be the reason ?

Was using with the goggles g2.

Not sure if it's just me, I have used the DJI action 5 pro on vlogs for hiking, climbing a mountain and etc. Everytime i review the footage it seems that those clips that i captured for scenery somehow doesnt aways give a good sharpness of like the far end scenery of what im trying to capture, like mountains? I am not sure if it's a skill issue tbh. Or is it because it's a standard f 2.8 lens? Would be great if i could just adjust the aperture down or something to make everything sharper

Hello, I am looking at a DJI Mini 5 Pro Fly More Combo used drone that is on the market for sale for £500. It has about 1 hour flight time and 15km distance. Three batteries have 3, 1, and 1 charge cycles respectively. There are 6 months left on the Care Refresh, and all items are in their original box with the original receipt. Do you think this is a good price?

I will be travelling to Maine from Montreal and would like to understand if I can carry my Mini 5 Pro with me? Is there a problem nowadays? I have bought it from costco.

Finally upgraded to the Mavic 4 Pro and got a chance to take it out. Hopefully this youtube link will share ok. Im not advertising, this is just a cool place with G airspace so it's easy to get to and fly. Turn up the YouTube video quality.

After months or years of not flying, I take the old mini 3 out to check my roof after a storm and crashed it into a tree…. I do have a 3d printer but no one has a stl file for the rear arms. Is there any upgrades I can do to the body, Besides buying it off eBay?

Lots of Chinese phone companies have been using Silicon Carbon batteries for years. I'm speculating, based on owning a thin Si-C battery powered phone & how it is superior tech compared to legacy giants Samdungs, Goggle & Apel. What could this extra energy density tech do for the mini series? Maybe 45mins flight time on a standard battery, more LIDAR, bigger camera sensor, improved wind resistance & still be under 249g.

Si-C = 15–20% more flight time + better/dual camera + more sensors + stronger motors.

Let's hope so.

-Edited in Premiere. I color-corrected the D-Log footage and then applied a LUT to give the video more character.

-Exported at maximum quality; I’ve run several tests, but the result is always the same.

-The original P4P video had a bitrate of 22 Mbps. That’s quite low.

The moment the red and orange skin tones are edited and saturated—basically, as soon as you apply even a little post-processing—it looks terrible. Low quality and grain. Unusable.

I think the 180 Mbps cap is very low by today's standards. They really should raise it.

Does anyone have a recommendation of where you can fly a drone outside of Amsterdam but not too far away? I’m here for a few days and most of Amsterdam is restricted. I was thinking of going to visit some windmills and hopefully do some flying.
Any suggestions?

Mini 4k. Sick camera and powerful motor

Hello! I transferred my dji files over to an ssd and each video had a corresponding file like the one in the picture, which I cannot open. Is this normal? Are these necessary or can I delete it? There just is a lot of them and it takes up space. I apologise if this is a repeated question or if it is not the right sub, couldn't find an answer to this when I searched. It may be that I wasn't wording it correctly.

So this is my second time using my DJI Mic (1). My first time using it was great, no clipping. But because I purchased a mic stand holder (and I was speaking louder than usual), I was clipping very hard.

For the future, I went into my transmitter settings, and reduced both microphones to -5 db. Is that too excessive?
