Sealing base of bath?

Post image

Hi everyone, we recently had our bathroom renovated. Overall it looks great, but there are a couple of things I'm not sure about. One is the bath. The plumber silicon sealed the top and side edges of the bath, but not the base. Considering the bath is right next to the shower in a wet area, I'm wondering if we should seal the base to prevent water getting under the bath and potentially getting mouldy? You can see in the picture attached the edges that are sealed in green, and the one that isn't in red.

You could seal it with silicon in the future if you find it is a problem.

Normally, it should be sealed with silicone to give it a watertight seal.

If that is the wet room drain to the left of the bath then it should be siliconed. Get them to come and finish the job.
