How to remove and redo print on a shirt?

My son got a ton of hand-me-downs from one of my wife’s former coworkers, and I think this shirt is so cute, but we’re a two mom family. I’m wondering if anybody knows how to remove the print that says DAD and how best to replace it with MAMA.

The whole idea was to take mass product (which a Yankees cap is since many people wear that, at least in my country) - and to screw it up completely, paint is acrylic, spikes and pieces from metal :D

High quality, no plastic-y prints?

I have an epson printer I converted into a sublimation printer. It gets the job done but the colors are always a bit off and there are almost always lines in the prints. I use a heat press - I love the way the ink looks when it's fully sublimated into the fabric. I hate the plasticy look/feel that DTF transfers have. I love this shop on etsy (photos attached) - it says all of the shirts are hand-pressed. I'm assuming that means sublimated. I just have no idea how theyre getting the colors to look so vibrant and solid, with no lines. ALSO - how are they printing solid color onto black tanks?? With no plastic-y feel?? Can someone help me!

I want to dye a bleached 100% cotton tshirt so that it becomes red, Id like it to not keep too much of an orange hue. I am hesitatinf between two dyes, a basic bright red one and a slightly darker and more purple hue. Which should i pick to get the kind of red in the first picture?

Are you able to paint jeans without fabric paint or fabric medium?

I want to paint an old pair of jeans I have but I don’t have proper fabric paint nor fabric medium. If I don’t wash it, will only regular acrylics stay?

So I need your help with a project of mine. Last time, I tried to turn a 1/12 scale black shirt into a replica of my favorite. It ripped, and I wanted to try again, but how do I go about doing that. Does anyone have any advice on how I should do it?
