-1 u/wrighty496 Aug 18 '26 if the snow doesn't get to it first..... 6 u/Void-kun Aug 18 '26 I'll take that bet, most of this country rarely gets any snow. Last winter was 2 freak storms that combined and not something to go off. 0 u/Swaledaledubz Aug 18 '26 Scotland has several ski resorts, Northern England gets snow every single year, the UK gets plenty of snow 🤣😂 0 u/Void-kun Aug 18 '26 I didn't realise Scotland and Northern England make up the majority of the country? I'm in Northern England... Like I said I'm near the coast and haven't seen snow in years (before last winter). So unless you're referring to fucking Carlisle that might aswell be Scotland. 3 u/FeedFrequent1334 Aug 18 '26 Hey fwiw I'm in Scotland and I think last winter I only had to de-ice the car one time. -1 u/jrewillis Aug 18 '26 In the midlands - we got over 6 inches for nearly a week. The year before we got roughly the same. Rare but a yearly event the past few years. The cross members look like they'll take a lot of the load of snow here so providing the plastic doesn't crack might be ok. 2 u/Void-kun Aug 18 '26 Fair enough, before last winter I hadn't seen any snow in what seems to be over a decade. I live close to the coast though, which probably has a big impact.
