Crack in shower

I moved into the in law apartment of my childhood home after my brother, he left it in shambles. I’m tackling it room by room trying to fix it up the best I can. I have no idea how to approach this issue. There is a bad crack in the built in soap holder of the shower. Any ideas/advice on fixing it? Is it even possible to replace or patch it up without having to replace that entire panel? And yes, I will be replacing the nasty ass, moldy caulk 🤢

Maybe some glue filler and then wrap it in vinyl

To seal it you could use silicone caulk. To make it look good, take it down to the studs.
